Bissell 35799 ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner -FAQS
How do I use the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution?
Fill the clean water tank with hot tap water and formula, plug in the unit, choose a cleaning mode (Express, Deep Clean, or Max Clean), then press the trigger while pushing forward to spray and release the trigger while pulling back to suction.
Do I push or pull this carpet cleaner while cleaning?
Yes—push forward with the trigger pressed to spray solution, and pull backward with the trigger released to suction out dirty water.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
In Express Clean Mode, carpets dry in around 30 minutes when used as recommended.
In Deep Clean or Max Clean Modes, carpets may take several hours to dry because more water is applied.
Why is my Bissell not spraying water?
Check that the clean water tank is full and properly seated. Make sure the spray nozzles aren’t clogged. Rinse the nozzles with warm water and clean the trigger area.
Why is no water coming out of my ProHeat 2X?
The tank may be damaged, not latched correctly, or the spray tips may be clogged. Re-seat the tank and clean the nozzles.
Should I use hot or cold water in a Bissell ProHeat?
Use hot tap water (not boiling). Hot water cleans better and is safe for the machine.
How much formula should I put in the ProHeat 2X?
Add 1.25 oz of BISSELL formula and optionally 1 oz of Boost to the clean tank, along with warm water up to the fill line.
Why is my Bissell not suctioning water?
The tank may not be seated correctly. Remove and reattach the dirty water tank to ensure it clicks into place. Also check for cracks or loose seals.
