Introduction of the control panel

Using Product
1. Place the steamer body on a flat, clean, and heat-resistant surface.
- Wipe the bottom of this product and its control panel.
- Do not use it when there is no water in the steamer.

2. Open the lid and add an appropriate amount of water.
- Do not add water above the maximum or below the minimum water level line.
- Adding water above the maximum water level line might cause a splash of water during cooking.
- If cooking for 60 minutes, it is recommended to fill the water to the maximum level to prevent water from running out during cooking.

3. Put the steamer tray and food.
- Please note that for ingredients prone to condensation, such as steamed buns or bread, place them directly on the steaming tray or line the base with a cloth before steaming.

4. Fasten the lid securely.
- Place the lid on the steamer body as shown in the diagram. Gently slide the lid to check its fit. A stable lid indicates that it is securely fitted.
- If the lid is not securely fitted, it may result in steam escaping from the gaps, posing a risk of burns.
- Please note: After closing the lid, ensure that the steam hole on the lid is at the rear side of the steamer; otherwise, there may be a risk of burns during operation.

5. Plug in power.
- After powering on, the buzzer emits a long beep, and the steamer enters standby mode. Turn the knob to power on. Once the indicator light illuminates, you can start setting up the steamer and preparing for cooking.

Operating Instructions for Functions
After powering on, the buzzer emits a long beep, and the steamer enters standby mode. In standby mode, turn the knob to power on. When the indicator light illuminates, you can start setting up the steamer.
Step 1: Set the time
- Turn the knob to select the time, while the bottom light bar displays the time accordingly.
- Totaling 8 time settings available: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, and 60 minutes.

Step 2: Start cooking
- Press the “START/PAUSE” button to start cooking. During operation, the bottom light bar shows the remaining cooking time.
- The progress light bar is segmented, displaying time ranges rather than the exact remaining time. For example, a flashing “20 min” indicates that the remaining time is between 15 to 20 minutes; “45 min” refers to 30 to 45 minutes.

Step 3: Cooking paused
- During cooking, tap the “START/PAUSE” button to pause. Tap the “START/PAUSE” button again to continue.
Step 4: Cooking finished
- Once cooking is finished, the steamer emits 3 beeps and returns to the function settings.
Operating Instructions for Low Water Level Reminder
This product features a built-in anti-dry burning mechanism to prevent damage or other hazards caused by the dry burning of the heating plate.
- When the water tank is low on water, the REFILL indicator flashes and the steamer pauses automatically. The knob lamp ring and progress bar light on the control panel flash together, with a continuous 5-second beep sounding every 20 seconds, repeating 10 times.
- When the REFILL reminder appears, add an appropriate amount of water to the water tank. The steamer will then resume operating automatically.
Cleaning & Maintaining
Daily Cleaning
- Once the steamer body has cooled down, clean its interior with a wet sponge. Note: Do not immerse the steamer body, power cord, or plug in water.
- Clean it after each use to prevent food residue, grease, and water from spoiling.
Descaling
- During heating, limescale may easily form in the water, leading to spots in the water tank. This is a normal phenomenon. You can gently clean it with a scouring pad. If there is too much limescale, you can descale the brewer with the following methods.
- It is recommended to descale the product regularly, at least once a month. If the water quality is poor, the frequency should be increased accordingly. Failure to clean the limescale promptly may result in malfunctioning.

- Add 500 mL of clean water and 5 g of descaling tablet to the water tank, then let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Secure the lid and set it for 5 minutes, then start cooking. After cooking, let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes.

BUYDEEM G32 Mini Electric Food Steamer-FAQS
How do I cook rice in the BUYDEEM G32 mini steamer?
Place the rice and water into the rice bowl, then set the bowl on one of the steaming trays. If you use multiple trays, always put the rice bowl on the top tray. Follow the recommended rice‑to‑water ratio in the manual and start the cooking program.
What is the correct water‑to‑rice ratio for steaming rice?
A common guideline is 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water for soft, tender rice. For firmer, chewier rice, you can slightly reduce the water (closer to a 1:1 ratio). Always check your rice type and adjust as needed.
Is steaming rice healthier than boiling it?
Both methods can be healthy, but steaming usually preserves more nutrients and tends to give stickier rice, which is good for dishes eaten with chopsticks or where you want the grains to cling together.

Can I cook chicken in the BUYDEEM G32 steamer?
Yes, you can steam eggs. Place eggs in the tray or in a suitable egg rack if provided. Cooking time depends on size and how well‑done you like them, but it usually ranges from about 8–15 minutes.
How long should I steam vegetables in the G32?
Most soft vegetables (like broccoli, peas, or spinach) take around 5–10 minutes. Harder vegetables (like carrots or potatoes) may take 15–20 minutes. Cut pieces evenly and check doneness with a fork.
Are there any vegetables that should not be steamed?
You can steam most vegetables, but very leafy or delicate ones can become mushy if overcooked. Always follow recipe guidance and reduce time for tender veggies to keep their texture.
Do I need oil when steaming food?
No oil is required for steaming. The BUYDEEM G32 uses moist heat, so foods stay juicy and tender without added fat, making steaming a healthier cooking method.
Can I use tap water, bottled water, or do I need distilled water?
You can usually use tap or bottled water, but hard water can cause mineral build‑up inside the steamer. Using distilled or filtered water helps reduce scale and extends the appliance’s life.
What happens if I don’t use distilled water?
Regular tap water may contain minerals (like calcium) that can form white or black flakes and clog the heating area over time. This can reduce steam output and may require more frequent descaling.
