WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided with a polarized plug (one wide blade) to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance.

Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop, where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over. TrueAir® Everlasting Reusable Filters

This Air Purifier is equipped with high-efficiency, reusable particulate filters that capture 99.95% of particulates as small as 0.3 microns. The TrueAir® Reusable Filters require minimum maintenance and will last forever. To keep the filters operating at peak performance, it is recommended to replace the outer carbon filter every 3 months and clean the particulate filter once every 12 months with a vacuum hose with a brush attachment.

NOTES:

Do not apply essential oils, fragrance sprays, or any cleaners to the Filter, as they will damage and reduce the efficacy of the Filter.
Using the Air Purifier in a room with an open window(s) will reduce purification efficiency, and the air change rate per hour will significantly decrease.

NOTES:

Using the Air Purifier in a room with an open window(s) will reduce purification efficiency, and the air change rate per hour will significantly decrease.

Control Panel

(Power ON/OFF) Button: Press to turn the unit on or off.
(Carbon Filter Replacement Reminder): Light will illuminate every 3 months to remind the user to replace the carbon filter.
(Particulate Filter Cleaning Reminder): Light illuminates red after 12 months of use.
(Fan Speeds): Press the Fan Speeds button to select one of three fan speeds.
(Timer and Sleep Mode : Press once to select 2 h, twice to select 4 h, and three times to select Sleep Mode.
(Screen Lock): Prevent accidental operational changes by locking the screen. To lock or unlock, press and hold the (Timer) and (Carbon Filter Replacement Reminder) buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds.

How to Use

Place the air purifier on a level surface.
Plug into the outlet.
Press the Power ON/OFF Button to turn on.
Press (Fan Speeds) button to select desired fan speed.
Select timer options: 2 or 4 hours. The air purifier will operate for the time selected, then turn off. If no timer time is selected, the Air Purifier will operate continuously.
When operating in Sleep Mode, all LEDs are turned off, and fan speed slows to a whisper-quiet operation.

Cleaning the Air Purifier and Changing Filters

WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.

Press the Power ON/OFF Button and unplug from the outlet.
To clean the outside of the Air Purifier, wipe with a damp cloth or use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove lint or debris.

NOTE: Do not use detergent, solvents, or spray cleaner on any part of the Air Purifier or Filter.

NOTE: (Carbon Filter Replacement Reminder) illuminates every 3 months to indicate that it is time to change Carbon Filters. (Particulate Filter Cleaning Reminder) illuminates red after 12 months of use. The Particulate Filter is reusable and must be vacuum cleaned to maintain effectiveness. Discoloration of Particulate Filters over time is normal and will not stay white after years of use. You may need to replace/clean your Filters more often if you notice decreased air flow, smell, or visibly clogged Filters.

To Replace Carbon Filters:

Press the Power ON/OFF. Button and unplug from the outlet.
Remove the filter cover from one side of the air purifier.
Remove both Filters. Separate the Carbon Filter from the Particulate Filter. Discard Carbon Filter.
Place a new Carbon Filter onto the front of the Particulate Filter. Replace Filters inside of Air Purifier.
Replace Filter Cover.
Repeat steps 2–5 on the other side.
To reset the reminder, press and hold the (Carbon Filter Replacement Reminder) button until the light turns off, about 3 seconds.

To Clean Particulate Filters:

Press the Power ON/OFF Button and unplug from the outlet.
Remove the filter cover from one side of the Air Purifier.
Remove both Filters. Separate the Carbon Filter from the Particulate Filter. Discard Carbon Filter.
Using a vacuum hose with a brush attachment, vacuum the front of the Filter (the side that the carbon filter attaches to).
Place a new Carbon Filter on the front of the Particulate Filter. Replace Filters inside of Air Purifier.
Replace Filter Cover.
Repeat steps 2–6 on the other side.
To reset the reminder, press and hold the (Particulate Filter Cleaning Reminder) button until the red light turns off, about 3 seconds.

Storage: When not using the Air Purifier for an extended period, it is recommended to wrap the filters and the unit in a plastic bag and place them in a cool, dry area. Avoid moisture, as it can damage the TrueAir® Filters.

Troubleshooting

Increase in noise level.

Check Filters. Ensure Filters are in the correct position.
Filters aren’t clean. Replace Carbon Filters and/or clean Particulate Filters.
Check the filter for damage. If one or more are damaged, replace with a new Filter.
(Carbon Filter Replacement Reminder) light or (Particulate Filter Cleaning Reminder) light is illuminated.
Replace Carbon Filter and/or clean Particulate Filter. Reset reminders as directed above.

Limited Warranty

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is instead of any other warranty or condition. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original delivery in Canada and one (1) year from the date of original delivery in the U.S.

During this period, your exclusive remedy is replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient.

Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120 V ~ 60 Hz).

We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price.
