Floor Cleaning Robot S20 with Drain System-FAQs

How do I reset the Floor Cleaning Robot S20?

To reset the S20, press and hold the Power button for about 5–10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt or see the indicator flash. For a factory reset, open the app settings and choose “Restore Factory Settings,” or press and hold the Reset button (if available) using a pin. Resetting helps fix Wi-Fi issues, mapping errors, or unresponsive behavior.

How do I set up the S20 for the first time?

Start by charging the robot fully (around 3–4 hours). Download the companion mobile app, create or sign in to your account, then tap “Add Device.” Follow on-screen instructions to connect the robot to your Wi-Fi network. Place the charging dock against a wall with clear space on both sides before starting the first cleaning cycle.

How do I turn on and start cleaning?

Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on. To begin cleaning, press the Clean button once or start it from the mobile app. For best results, remove loose cables, small objects, and lightweight rugs before running the robot for the first time.

Can I add detergent, Dettol, or vinegar to the water tank?

It is recommended to use clean water only unless the manufacturer specifically approves a cleaning solution. Strong chemicals like vinegar or disinfectants can damage seals, pumps, and internal tubing. Using unapproved liquids may void your warranty and reduce the lifespan of the robot’s mopping system.

How long does it take to fully charge the S20?

The S20 typically takes about 3–4 hours to charge completely. The indicator light or app will show when charging is complete. Once fully charged, the robot automatically stops drawing power. Most models are designed to prevent overcharging and can safely remain on the dock when not in use.

What are common signs of poor suction?

Signs include unusual noises, overheating, weak debris pickup, or dust left behind. These issues are often caused by clogged filters, tangled brushes, or blocked airways. Regularly clean the roller brush, side brushes, and filters to restore optimal suction and extend the life of your Floor Cleaning Robot S20.

Can the S20 clean tiles and work at night?

Yes, the S20 can clean tiles, hardwood, laminate, and low-pile carpets. Most modern robot vacuums use smart sensors or LiDAR navigation, allowing them to function effectively even in low-light or dark conditions. Night cleaning is generally quiet and convenient for maintaining daily cleanliness without disruption.

Why is my robot vacuum not emptying or mopping properly?

If the robot is not emptying, check whether the dustbin is correctly installed and not overfilled. Clean the filters and ensure there are no blockages in the suction path. If mopping is not working, confirm that the water tank is properly fitted, outlets are not clogged, and the mop pad is clean.
