- Unplug the appliance before assembly/disassembly, moving, cleaning, storage, and when not in use. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not completely fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounded 3-wire cord. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop, where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- Ensure that there is enough space surrounding the appliance while in use, as the appliance becomes very hot.
- Do not add excess sugar while using the Cotton Candy Maker. Excess sugar may cause noise or vibration of the Cotton Candy Maker.
- Caution: The Extractor Head will be hot after preheating! To avoid burns or personal injury, avoid contact with the extractor head.
- WARNING: To ensure optimal functioning of the Cotton Candy Maker, do not use more than 1 scoop of granulated or superfine sugar at a time. Overfilling the Extractor Head can cause clogs.

Before First Use
Remove all packaging material from the product. Rinse the Upper Splash Guard Bowl and Bottom Bowl with warm water, then dry them with a paper towel.
ASSEMBLY
- Place the Bottom Bowl over the Extractor Head and push down. Turn it counterclockwise until it’s locked into place by the grooves on the base (photo A).
- Attach the Upper Splash Guard Bowl by placing it on top of the Bottom Bowl (photo B) and pressing down until it snaps securely into place.

- Place the Cotton Candy Maker on a dry, clean, and level surface before plugging it in.
- Switch the Power Switch to ON (photo A). The Extractor Head will start to spin and heat up. When using granulated, superfine, or flossing sugar, allow the machine to run for 3–5 minutes to ensure proper preheating.
- Once preheated, switch the Power Switch to OFF (photo B).
- Once the Extractor Head has completely stopped spinning, add no more than 1 scoop of granulated or superfine sugar, or flossing sugar (photo C). Then switch the Power Switch to ON (photo D). The Extractor Head will begin to spin, and the heating element will activate.
- As the spun sugar fibers start to collect around the bowl, slowly spin the paper cone in your fingers while circling the bowl (photo E).
- Once the cotton candy begins to form on the cone, hold it horizontally over the Extractor Head and continue to spin the cone, moving it from side to side to gather all the candy from inside the bowl (photo F).
- When no more cotton candy fibers are being emitted from the Extractor Head, switch the Power Switch to OFF. Prepare additional servings by repeating the previous steps.
- When you finish making cotton candy, switch the Power Switch OFF and unplug the Cotton Candy Maker from the electrical outlet.
Making Additional Swirling Sticks
- Begin by laying out a clean, dry sheet of paper on a flat surface. An 8.5″ x 11″ sheet works well.
- Take one corner of the paper and roll it toward the opposite edge to form a cone shape. Adjust the tightness of the roll according to how wide you want the opening to be.
- Once the cone is formed, use tape or glue to secure the overlapping edge, ensuring that the cone keeps its shape.
- If needed, trim the bottom of the cone to make it even and stable. The Swirling Stick is now ready to hold cotton candy (photo A)!
cleaning & maintenance
CAUTION: Never immerse the base unit or cord in water or other liquid.
- Always unplug the Cotton Candy Maker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Once fully cooled, remove the Upper Splash Guard Bowl by lifting it up and off the Bottom Bowl. Remove the Bottom Bowl by gripping both sides and turning it clockwise. Once loosened, pull it straight up.
- To clean the Upper Splash Guard Bowl and Bottom Bowl, wash by hand in warm, soapy water. Never use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads, as they may damage the surfaces. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Allow the Extractor Head to cool completely before removing or cleaning.
- Once cool, grip it firmly from the top and pull straight up to remove. Soak in warm water, then wipe with a soft cloth. Shake off excess water and dry thoroughly.
- Never store the Cotton Candy Maker while it is hot or wet.
- Make sure the Cotton Candy Maker is clean and dry before storing.
- To store, place the Cotton Candy Maker in its box or in a clean, dry place.
RECIPE GUIDE
CLASSIC COTTON CANDY
- Prep Time: 10 minutes.
- Cook Time: 20 minutes.
- Serves: 3–4
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop of sugar or floss sugar
- Food coloring, if desired
- Swirling sticks
Directions:
- Power on the Cotton Candy Maker and allow it to reheat for 3–5 minutes. Then, power off the Maker. Add 1 scoop of sugar into the Sugar Compartment, taking care not to overfill.
- Power on the Maker to begin spinning the sugar. The Maker will begin melting the sugar, and the strands/floss will begin to appear.
- Move a Swirling Stick around the inside of the Maker to roll the floss sugar onto the paper cone. Use the cone to pick up the strands of sugar, then rotate the cone to wrap the floss sugar around it.
- After all sugar has turned into floss/strands, repeat with more sugar if desired.
- Hand out cotton candy cones to anyone who loves a fluffy sweet treat!
COTTON CANDY POPCORN
- Prep Time: 15–20 minutes.
- Cook Time: 45–60 minutes.
- Serves: 8–10
Ingredients:
- 16-ounce package of marshmallows or vanilla candy melts
- 2 cups of cotton candy torn into small pieces
- 12 cups popped popcorn, divided
- 3 ounces blue candy melts
- ½ cup sprinkles
- 3 ounces pink candy melts
Directions:
- Prepare Classic Cotton Candy as per the recipe on Page 18.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt marshmallows or vanilla melts according to the package.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 8 cups of popcorn. Pour on the marshmallow coating and use tongs to stir until well coated, working quickly before the marshmallow has a chance to harden.
- Add cotton candy and gently mix to distribute throughout the popcorn.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread out the popcorn mixture on the baking sheet and top with sprinkles.
- In two separate bowls, melt the blue and pink candies in the microwave.
- In two mixing bowls, divide the remaining popcorn equally. Pour the blue coating over one bowl of popcorn and pour the pink over the other.
- Stir each one until well coated. Line another baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread out the pink and blue popcorn mixtures, keeping them separate.
- When cooled, in a large mixing bowl, add all three batches of popcorn. Stir to combine all colors.
- Serve and enjoy this POP of sweetness!
COTTON CANDY FLOOF CAKE
- Prep Time: 7–10 minutes
- Cook Time: 10–12 minutes
- Serves: 6–8
Ingredients:
- Cotton Candy in a variety of colors
- Sprinkles
Directions:
- Prepare Classic Cotton Candy as per the recipe on Page 18.
- Make a “cotton candy cake” by placing prepared cotton candy into a cake pan or tall plastic container to form a cake shape, using different colors to form layers.
- On a serving plate, flip the cotton candy cake over.
- Top with sprinkles and enjoy!
