FAQ

At Meross, we strive to assure your satisfaction. Attached below is a non-exhaustive list of questions that users are mostly concerned about.

1. Does the black screen show anything?

The black screen on the device is a solar panel that can collect energy from ambient light to power the sensor. It is not an LCD screen and won’t display any content.

2. Under what conditions can the solar battery panel work?

According to the test results of Meross laboratory, when the ambient light reaches about 150 Lux, the solar panel will work. When working, the solar panel will provide energy for the sensor without any battery consumption, provided that the ambient light is bright enough. The sensor will be powered by the solar panel in preference to ensure a long battery life.
