- Read the instructions before using the kitchen scale and keep them for future reference. This scale is for household use. NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USAGE.
- Make sure your scale is placed on a non-vibrating, flat, and stable horizontal surface.
- Avoid weighing on top of books, cloth, etc., that might cause an error indication.
- Gently place all items to be weighed. Do not drop items onto the weighing platform.
- Place the item to be measured at the center of the scale on a flat, stable surface for accurate results.
INSTRUCTION FOR THE USER
This product is a sensitive electronic instrument, and it may be affected by radio transmission devices being used in proximity (such as mobile phones, radios, electronic controllers, and some wireless devices). If the appliance exhibits symptoms such as errors or inaccurate data, try moving the product away from the source of interference or switching off that source of interference before using the product.
MAINTENANCE & WARNING!
- Handle with care as it is a precision instrument, i.e., never expose it to extreme temperatures, shock, moisture, dust, or direct sunlight. Do not drop or knock the scale.
- Keep your scale away from the source of heat.
- Clean your scale with a damp cloth after use; do not use solvents or chemicals.
- Do not overload the scale.
- Once the scale detects the exceeding of the weight or tampering, the guarantee becomes invalid.
- If the display does not function, please contact Cüraa by YFL home customer care (mentioned on page 10).
- Do not store or use the scale in a damp room with humidity over 90%. Use in a well-circulated environment. Always avoid high moisture & sunlight, or a strong electromagnetic field to preserve the precision of the scale.

BUTTON DESCRIPTION
On/off button – controls the on/off status of the device. Also functions as the electronic scale tare button.
Unit switch button – the kitchen scale will cycle through different measuring units with a press of the unit button (g/lb/oz/mL).

HOW TO USE
- Place the electronic scale in a horizontal position and press .
- Keep the electronic scale stable and weigh until the LCDs “0/0.0g”.
- Then you can start weighing.
Example steps (with LCD illustrations):
- Put the empty container on the scale. The LCD shows the container weight.
- Press to zero. At this point, the screen will display a zero, indicating that the tare is complete.
- Pour the water into the container. The LCD will display the weight of the water.
- Press UNIT to switch units to “mL”. You can get the water volume.
Other Display Instructions:
- The display of “oL” indicates that the weight of the object you placed has exceeded the maximum capacity of this electronic scale.
- The display of “Lo” indicates that the device has low battery power. Please replace the batteries.
BATTERY INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT
The scale operates with 2AAA batteries.
- Insert the batteries into the compartment located at the bottom of the scale.
- Insert 2AAA batteries.
- When the batteries are discharged, the display will show “LO”. Remove the batteries and replace them with a new set for continuous usage.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the scale on a flat surface.
- To switch on: press the key.
- To switch off: press for 2-3 seconds.
- If the desired unit (g / ml/lb/oz) is not displayed after the LCD is reset to zero, please press the key.
- Now place the item onto the weighing platform.
- Wait until it is displayed.
If you wish to use a container on the scale, you can either place it on the scale before the scale is turned on, or after the scale has been turned on and is showing 0g → press the 
key → the scale will show zero and prepare for weighing the net weight.
Ensure the scale is at your eye level to read. Please be aware that the position of the container will affect the total capacity of the scale. Whenever the load exceeds 5100g, then the capacity for weighing will be reduced to 5000 grams (See “Overload” notes below).
Overload: When the weight is more than 5000g, it can be measured inaccurately. When the weight is more than 5100g, it exceeds the max weight range (LCD will display an overloading error).
TARE FUNCTION
The Tare function will help you to reset the scale to zero at any time and to weigh different items/ingredients or containers independently.
- Press the button located on the front panel. The display will show 0.0.
- Place the ingredient/container on the platform.
- Press the button again to reset the scale to zero before adding the next ingredient.
- Repeat this process for each subsequent ingredient.

Warranty Service
This Cüraa by YFL home consumer product is covered against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. The warranty is not transferable from one user/customer to another.
What is covered by this warranty?
- The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective, in Cüraa by YFL Home’s sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced up to one (1) year from the original purchase date. In case of repairs or replacement of any part(s) of the product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty.
What is not covered by this warranty?
- Normal wear and tear of wearable parts (such as blending vessels, lids, blades, blender bases, etc.), which require regular maintenance and/or replacement to ensure the proper functioning of your unit, are not covered by this warranty. Replacement parts are available for purchase at yflhome.com.
- Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance (e.g., dropping the scale or applying sudden force can misalign, causing breakage of internal components), or damage due to mishandling in transit.
- Consequential and incidental damages.
- Defects caused by repair persons not authorized by Cüraa by YFL home. These defects include damages caused in the process of shipping, altering, or repairing the Cüraa by YFL home product or any of its parts when the repair is performed by a person not authorized by Cüraa by YFL home.
- Products purchased, used, or operated outside India.
