How does the Tzumi Tag-it work?
The Tag-it device uses location tracking to help find it if it loses connection to your smartphone. It saves the last known location and shows you where the device was last seen.
What is the range of the Tzumi tracker?
The Tzumi Tag-it works within a range of 14 ft. to 130 ft., with a battery life of up to 6 months.
Why does my Tag-it keep disconnecting?
The Tag-it Tracker needs the app to be running in the background for the connection to stay active. Ensure the app is updated and check your device’s settings, as some devices may close the app after a set period, causing disconnection.
How do Bluetooth tracking tags work?
Bluetooth trackers use Bluetooth technology to communicate with your phone. They transmit location data to your device, allowing you to track the item the tracker is attached to.
What distance does Tag-it work within?
You can set the distance between your phone and the Tag-it device to 20, 40, or 60 feet. If the device moves beyond the set distance, it triggers an alarm and displays its location on a GPS map.
Does the SmartTag have GPS?
The Samsung SmartTag does not have built-in GPS functionality. Similar to the Apple AirTag, it relies on Bluetooth to connect with a phone for location tracking.
Do GPS trackers show the exact location?
GPS trackers provide real-time location data, but the exact location can vary by up to 10 meters, especially in bad weather or indoors, as signals are affected by environmental factors.
How much data does a tracker use?
GPS trackers typically use 10-20 MB of data per month, depending on how frequently the location updates are sent. Data usage can vary based on tracking frequency and map detail.
Can you detect a GPS tracker with your phone?
Yes, some Android devices (version 6 and up) can detect unknown trackers placed near you using tracker alerts. This helps you find and remove trackers that may have been placed without your consent.
