BREWING COFFEE
- Fill the water tank with cold water to the desired water level (Max 14fl oz). (fig. 4) Note: Do not exceed the Max line (14fl oz) when brewing into a travel mug. Doing so could cause the travel mug to overflow.

- Add the desired amount of ground coffee directly into the filter, then close the top cover. We recommend using the provided measuring spoon and adding four scoops per full mug of coffee. (fig. 6)

- Remove the lid of the travel mug and place the travel mug on the mug rest of the coffee maker. Press the On/Off button. The button will light up, and brewing will begin. (fig. 7 & 8)

- The coffee maker and light turn off automatically after brewing is finished. Allow coffee to finish dripping from the unit before removing your travel mug and securing the lid. (fig. 9)

- Wait a few minutes before making a second mug of coffee. Please allow the brewing chamber to fully cool down, and remember to empty the used coffee grinds prior to making your next cup.
NOTE: There will be slightly less coffee in your travel mug than the amount of water added, as the ground coffee will absorb some of the water.
CAUTION: Be careful when opening the coffee maker lid after brewing, as this area will be hot, and steam built up in the machine can cause burns. Use the lift tab located on the front of the lid, and be careful with your hands and face so it does not come in contact with any steam or hot water.
