Getting started

Wireless 7-in-1 outdoor sensor

  • Secure the sensor onto a mounting pole (7) and the pole on the bracket (8) using the screws.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 1
  • To install the wind speed cups (6), align the screw holes in the cups with the flat side of the metal rod and screw it on tight.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 2
  • Insert the wind direction vane in the metal rod and screw it on tightly to lock it in place.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 3
  • Align the notches on the funnel (5) with the lock grooves inside the rain collector. Insert the funnel and lock it in place by rotating it clockwise.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 4
  • Slide the switch on the battery compartment (12) into the “unlocked” position and open the cover.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 5
  • Insert the batteries according to the +/– polarity.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 6
  • Close the battery compartment cover and slide the switch into the “locked” position.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 7
  • Pick a convenient location to install the 7-in-1 outdoor sensor. The kit includes mounting brackets for installation on vertical or horizontal surfaces, as well as on your own mounting pole.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 8
  • Lock the sensor in place tightly to avoid it shaking in windy weather, as it may negatively impact precipitation readings accuracy.
  • Tighten the mounting brackets (8) to the surface/wall using 4 included tapping screws, or attach the mounting pole to your existing one with the included M5 bolts and nuts. Attaching to a mounting pole requires using the included rubber pads.
  • Install the outdoor sensor so that the rain funnel faces north and the solar panel faces south. Use a compass for precise positioning.
  • Use the bubble level (4) to horizontally level the sensor. If it’s not level, the reading of UV and light intensity will be inaccurate.
  • To correct the horizontal level of the outdoor sensor, loosen the screws on the mounting pole (7). Adjust the level so that the bubble is in the middle of the level, and tighten the screws.
  • The standard direction for the wireless outdoor sensor is north, which provides the most accuracy in the Northern Hemisphere. However, if you are located in the Southern Hemisphere, the sensor needs to be pointed south.
  • Select the STH mode in the clock settings (refer to the “Clock setup” section).

Weather station

  • Plug the power adapter into the weather station power jack (9). Insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries for backup power, maintaining the polarity.

Pairing with the wireless 7-in-1 sensor

  • Once your weather station powers on, it should automatically search for and connect to the wireless sensors.
  • If the connection is not established within 10 minutes, retry pairing mode by removing and reinserting the power plug.
  • You will see the blinking 1icon on the base screen, displayed in the temperature/humidity segment (1). Once the pairing process completes, the antenna icon will appear solid (not flashing), and the readings for outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction, UV, light intensity, and rainfall will appear in their designated segments of the screen. The station has entered normal display mode.
  • If after a reset or reboot of the station, the connection to the sensors fails, press and hold the CHANNEL button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. This will let the station automatically re-register sensors.

Setting up Wi-Fi and weather server connection

  • An active 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is required. Press and hold the BARO/–/ 10button for 3 seconds. The station’s LCD screen will show the AP icon to signify it has entered the Access Point mode (AP) and is ready to set up a Wi-Fi connection.
  • Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to complete the following steps:
  • Open the Wi-Fi settings on your PC or Android/iOS device. To do so, go to settings and select Wi-Fi settings.– Locate the weather station SSID from the list. It should appear as WWS-XXXXXX (where all the X’s are integers) in the list. Tap on the SSID to connect.
  • Once you are connected to the weather station, open up your internet or mobile web browser, and enter the following address into the address bar: http://192.168.1.1 to access the weather station web interface. (Make sure to include the http\:// or else the web browser may interpret the address as a search query.)
  • In the web interface, fill out the required information in the SETUP tab. Make sure all information is entered correctly before saving. If you do not plan to use Wunderground.com and/or Weathercloud.net, remove the corresponding checks.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 9Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 10

Weather station web-interface (SETUP tab)

  • To finish setup, press and hold the BARO/–/ 10button on the weather station for 3 seconds. The station will exit the Access Point (AP) mode and connect to your Wi-Fi network with all your changes saved.
  • Wi-Fi connection status is displayed on the LCD screen. A flashing icon means an unstable Wi-Fi signal or active attempts to connect to the router. A missing icon means the weather station is not connected to a Wi-Fi router. Constantly on icon means a stable connection to your network.Levenhuk LP150 Wezzer PLUS Weather Station User Manual 11
