Craig CBT3348A Bluetooth Car FM Radio Transmitter-FAQs
Do FM transmitters work in all cars?
Yes, FM transmitters are compatible with most vehicles as they use Bluetooth and FM radio frequencies. They are easy to set up without requiring complex installation.
What is the best radio frequency for a Bluetooth transmitter?
Frequencies between 88-95 FM typically work best as they are less crowded. Tune your transmitter and car radio to the same frequency to ensure a clear connection.
Can I leave a Bluetooth FM transmitter plugged in?
It is not recommended to leave the transmitter plugged into the car’s cigarette lighter when the vehicle is off, as it may drain the battery.
How can I find the best frequency for my FM transmitter?
Start by setting your FM transmitter to 89.9 FM and tuning your car radio to the same frequency. If interference occurs, you can use an app like ClearFM to locate an open frequency.
What is Bluetooth transmitter mode?
Bluetooth transmitters have two modes:
Receiver Mode: Receives audio from a Bluetooth-enabled device and outputs it.
Transmitter Mode: Sends audio to another Bluetooth device.
How does a Bluetooth car adapter work?
It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and plugs into your car’s 12-volt outlet. The adapter transmits audio to your car’s FM radio, which plays it like a regular radio station.
How do I change the frequency on my Bluetooth FM transmitter?
Use the knob button to adjust the frequency. Rotate clockwise to increase it or counterclockwise to decrease it. For quick tuning, long-press the button to adjust the frequency in larger steps.
How do I reset my car’s Bluetooth settings?
Refer to your car’s owner manual or follow these steps: Press the talk button on the steering wheel, go to settings, and select the option to reset to factory defaults. Afterward, re-pair your devices.
