Dartwood Waterproof Bone Conduction Wireless Headphone- FAQs
Are Dartwood bone conduction headphones waterproof?
Yes. These headphones are waterproof and suitable for activities like swimming, showering, or outdoor workouts in the rain.
Can I swim while using these headphones?
Yes. They are designed for swimming and water sports, but Bluetooth will not work underwater. Music must be preloaded or paired before entering water.
How do bone conduction headphones work?
Instead of sending sound through the air into your eardrums, they vibrate the bones near your ears, transmitting sound directly to your inner ear. This keeps your ears open for surrounding sounds.
Can I take phone calls with these headphones?
Yes. They support calls, providing clear voice transmission while keeping your ears open to the environment.
Can deaf people use bone conduction headphones?
People with conductive hearing loss may benefit, as the headphones bypass damaged parts of the ear to deliver sound directly to the inner ear. However, sound quality may differ from traditional headphones.
How do I adjust volume or control music?
Use the volume and playback buttons on the headphones or your paired Bluetooth device. Some models also support adjustments via a companion app.
Do bone conduction headphones leak sound?
Yes, there is slight sound leakage, but it is much lower than traditional open-ear headphones. Leakage depends on volume and fit.
Are there any side effects?
Using at high volumes for long periods may cause headaches or mild skull vibrations. Always listen at a comfortable level.
Can I sleep while wearing bone conduction headphones?
Specialized open-ear or headband-style bone conduction headphones are recommended for sleeping. Standard models are better suited for active use.
Can I use cleaning solutions with these headphones?
No liquids other than mild cleaning wipes should be used. Avoid submerging in harsh chemicals or detergents to maintain waterproof integrity.
