  10. Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades while processing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the food chopper. A scraper may be used, but it must be used only when the food chopper is not running.
  11. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
  12. This appliance is intended for processing small quantities of food for immediate consumption. This appliance is not intended to prepare large quantities of food at one time.
  13. To reduce the risk of injury, never place a cutting blade on the base without first putting the bowl properly in place.
  14. Be certain the cover is securely locked in place before operating the appliance.
  15. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use:

  • To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug; do not pull on the Power Cord.
  • Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product, as the Power Cord could fray and break.
  • If using an extension cord with this product, the marked electrical rating of the cord set must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product.
  • Always operate the product on a flat, level, stable surface.
  • Do not allow the Power Cord to hang, such as over the edge of a table or counter, where it may be tripped over or pulled.

GETTING STARTED

NOTICE:

  • The Colossal Cup is for 24 oz max capacity. Do not fill the Jar with food or liquids past the capacity level.
  • Do not operate the product empty.

How to use the blender

  1. Put the ingredients into the cup. The maximum capacity should not exceed “MAX” on the cup body.

How to use the main blender

  1. Place the installed cup on the host (the three convex tabs on the cup should be aligned with the three concave tabs on the host).

Power-up mode

  1. Cupless power-on mode: When the product is in a cupless state, no function is activated.
  2. Cup-on power-up mode: When the product is in the cup-on state, it will work after power-on.

Standby mode

  1. Product without cup standby mode: The product does not activate any function in the mode without a cup.
  2. Product with cup standby mode: When the product has a cup in standby mode, no function is activated.

Operating mode

  1. The product enters the working mode with a cup.
  2. After the product is turned to standby after the work, if the cup is taken out and then placed again, it will enter the corresponding working state.

PITCHER INSTRUCTIONS

  • Never operate for more than 1 minute at a time.
  • Always attach the precision extractor blade to the pitcher and hand-tighten it to prevent leakage before adding ingredients into the pitcher.
  • The capacity of the juice cup should not be less than 25% to achieve the best food effect.
  • Do not stir hot ingredients; cool them before pouring.
  • NEVER USE THE PRECISION EXTRACTOR BLADE TO BLEND WITHOUT LIQUID, AS DOING SO MAY DAMAGE THE BLADE.
  • Do not use the pitcher on the motor base without the black lid and clear vent top in place when running the blender.
  • Always allow the power base motor and precision extractor blade to come to a complete stop before adding additional ingredients during the processing period.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Please wash the blade and cup immediately after use.
  • Hand wash with mild soapy water.
  • The outside of the main body can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids, and do not wash it under water or other liquids.
  • It should be dried immediately.
  • If it is a small hard accessory, pour half of warm water into the cup, or soapy water, tighten the base, and gently turn the blade for 30–45 seconds to scrub.
  • Do not put the blade in the dishwasher for cleaning; just use mild soapy water.
  • The cup can be placed on the highest shelf of the dishwasher for washing. Please do not soak the cup and blade in hot water.
  • Do not remove the sealing ring when cleaning the blade. Only hand wash with mild soapy water.
