Maytronics Dolphin Nautilus CC Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner-FAQs

Why does my Dolphin pool cleaner keep shutting off?

If your Dolphin stops after a short movement, it may be due to an obstruction in the drive system or around the impeller. Unplug the cleaner and inspect the impeller, tracks, and brushes for debris.

How is a robotic pool cleaner powered?

Robotic pool cleaners operate using a power supply or built-in battery, allowing them to clean the pool floor, walls, and waterline. Many models include timer functions and adjustable cleaning modes.

What does a blinking blue light on my Maytronics Dolphin mean?

1. Flashing blue light: The device is waiting for a Bluetooth connection.
2. Steady blue light: The device is successfully connected via Bluetooth.

Why isn’t my Dolphin Nautilus moving?

Check the impeller and drive system for debris. Also, make sure the cable is not tangled and is long enough for full pool coverage. Try manually rotating the brushes to check for blockages.

Can I leave my robotic pool cleaner in the water?

Leaving the cleaner in water for extended periods may cause increased wear and tear. Additionally, strong pool currents and chemical treatments like chlorine can affect the plastic components.

How does a robotic pool cleaner move?

Pool cleaners use suction, drive motors, and programmed navigation algorithms to move around the pool. Some models connect to the pool’s pump, while others use built-in smart navigation for optimal coverage.

How does the Dolphin pool robot navigate the pool?

Dolphin robots use CleverClean™ technology, an advanced navigation algorithm that ensures efficient pool coverage. If the model includes a climbing feature, it will also clean the walls and waterline.

What do the 1, 2, and 3 settings on my Dolphin mean?

1. Setting 1: Runs every day (7 cycles per week).
2. Setting 2: Runs every other day (3 cycles per week).
3. Setting 3: Runs every three days (2 cycles per week).

Why does my Dolphin cleaner run for a few seconds and then shut off?

This may be due to debris blocking the impeller. Unplug the cleaner, open the impeller compartment, remove any debris, and reassemble it using a Phillips screwdriver.

What does a blinking blue battery light mean?

A blinking blue light often indicates a power issue. It may mean the battery is low and needs charging, or it could signal a problem with the power supply. If the light does not stop blinking, refer to the user manual for troubleshooting.
