Mounting Dream MD2380 TV Wall Mount-FAQs
How long does it take to install a TV wall mount?
Installation usually takes 1 to 2 hours. However, mounting on harder surfaces like brick or concrete, or needing extra wall support, may take up to 4 hours or more.
Can I mount a TV without drilling holes?
Yes! You can use no-drill wall mounts that stick with adhesive or clamp to brackets. Alternatively, a TV stand or heavy-duty furniture brackets can help mount a TV without wall damage.
What type of wall is required to mount a TV?
Most mounts work with standard wood studs and drywall. For surfaces like brick, concrete, or plaster, additional tools or special mounting hardware may be needed.
How much weight can the MD2380 wall mount hold?
The Mounting Dream MD2380 supports TVs from 37″ to 84″ and up to 120 lbs (54.5 kg). Make sure your TV meets the weight and VESA pattern requirements.
How do I measure my TV screen size?
Use a tape measure to check the diagonal distance from one upper corner of the screen to the opposite lower corner. Only measure the visible screen area, not the frame.
Are TV wall mounts universal?
Some TV wall mounts are labeled as universal, but not all fit every TV. Always check your TV’s VESA pattern and size to ensure compatibility with the mount.
Can I wall mount any size TV?
Most wall mounts are designed for specific size ranges. Check the product specs to make sure your TV falls within the supported screen size and weight.
How do I check if my TV is compatible with a mount?
Look for the VESA pattern in your TV’s manual or on the manufacturer’s website. Common patterns include 200×200, 400×400, and 600×400 mm. If your TV isn’t VESA-compatible, an adapter may be needed.
Can I mount a TV in a corner?
Yes, you can! Just use a mount with dual-swivel arms that allow wide-angle movement—usually between 120° to 180°—for the best corner fit.
