Petlibro PLAF008 Air Automatic Pet Feeder- FAQs
Q1. What are some common problems with automatic pet feeders?
Some pets may get startled by the sound of automatic feeders. Cleaning can be tricky since some models need partial disassembly. In rare cases, feeders may dispense slightly more food than programmed.
Q2. Will the Petlibro feeder still work if Wi-Fi or power goes out?
Yes. Feeding schedules are stored locally, and the unit continues to dispense food using its battery backup. However, logs and app updates won’t show until the connection is restored.
Q3. How long can I safely leave my cat with this feeder?
Even with an automatic feeder, it’s best not to leave cats alone for more than 2–3 days without someone checking in for water, litter, and overall well-being.
Q4. How long does the Petlibro PLAF008 take to charge, and how long does it last?
It takes about 8 hours for a full charge, and the battery lasts up to 30 days depending on usage.
Q5. Can I use wet food in the Petlibro feeder?
No, the PLAF008 is designed for dry kibble only. Wet food can clog the mechanism and is not recommended.
Q6. How do I know when the feeder is fully charged?
The indicator light turns steady white once the battery is completely charged.
Q7. How often should I feed my cat with an automatic feeder?
Most cats do well with 2–4 meals a day. Avoid leaving more than 12 hours between meals, as this can cause stomach discomfort.
Q8. How do I clean the Petlibro PLAF008 feeder?
Unplug the feeder and remove the food tank and lid. Wash these parts with mild soap and water, then dry completely before reassembling. Wipe the base with a soft cloth only—never submerge it.
