CHARACTERISTICS
Compact charger
The UI\IIROSS charger is designed to charge Li-Cd or Li-MH batteries in the following sizes/quantities:
- 2 or 4 battery size MA/ R03 / Micro
- 2 or 4 battery size M/ R6/ Mignon
- 1 to 2 batteries size 9V Block/ R22/ PP3.
It is possible to charge 1, 2, 3, or 4 R03 or R6 batteries. R22 batteries can be recharged individually or in pairs. It is possible to charge 1 and/or 2 R03 and/or R6 batteries and one R22 battery at the same time.
Description
- Minutery selector: position A= 6h / position B = 9h
- Loe atio ns A, B, C, and D to charge battery sizes AM/ R03 / Micro and M/ R6/ Mignon.
- Indicator lights (respectively CH1 and/orCH2):
- red, indicating charging of battery size R03 and/or R6 in locations respectively (A and 8) and/or (C and D) is in progress
- green, indicating charging of battery size R03 and/or R6 in locations respectively (A and 8) and/or (C and D) is in trickle charge
- Locations E and F to charge batteries of the 9V Block/ R22/ PP3 size.
- Red indicator light (CH3) denoting that the charging of 9V Block/ R22/ PP3 size batteries in locations E and/or Fiis is in progress.

Safety timer
The charger has a timer operating solely for batteries of AM/ R03/ Micro & M/ R6/ Mignon sizes. This timer trips automatically when the charger is plugged into the power outlet. Therefore, it is important to:
- To disconnect and reconnect the charger each time empty batteries a recharged.
- During charge, do not disconnect and reconnect the charger unless the batteries have been discharged in the meantime.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place 2 or 4 batteries size R03, R6, or 1 to 2 batteries size R22 in the charger compartment in compliance with the +/- polarity markings engraved in the bottom of the charger.
- Set the cursor (l\lo. 1) to the “A” position or “B” position, depending on the battery size (see table of charge time below). Do not mix Li-Cd batteries with Li-MHHHHH batteries: charge batteries using different technologies separately.
- Connect the charger to a power outlet.
- If 1 or 2 R03 or R6 batteries are placed in channels A and/or 8, the indicator light CH1 will turn red, denoting that charging is underway. If 1 or 2 R03 or R6 batteries are placed in channels C and/or D, indicator light CH2 will become red, denoting that the charge is in progress. When the charging time provided does elapse (see following charge table), the indicator light(s) will turn green: trickle charge will then begin. The batteries will be considered as charged and can be used.
- If 1 or 2 R22 batteries are placed in channels E and/or F, indicator light l\lo. 6 will turn red. The charger does not indicate the end of R22 battery charging. It is necessary to end the charge in good time (see charge time table below) by disconnecting the charger from the electrical power point and removing the batteries from the charger.

UNIROSS XPress 300 Battery Charger- FAQs
How do I use the UNIROSS XPress 300 Battery Charger?
Insert 2 or 4 Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries (sizes R03, R6, or R22) into the charging slots, matching the (+/-) polarity signs. Plug the charger into a wall socket — the red LED will light up to show charging has started.
How long does it take to charge batteries with the UNIROSS XPress 300?
Charging usually takes 18–24 hours for a full charge, depending on the battery type and capacity. For faster use, keep a spare set of fully charged batteries ready.
How can I tell when my batteries are fully charged?
When charging is complete, the LED indicator will change color or turn off. This signals that your batteries have reached their full charge level.
Can I leave the UNIROSS charger plugged in overnight?
It’s best to unplug the charger once the batteries are fully charged. Continuous charging may overheat batteries and reduce their lifespan over time.
What happens if I overcharge my rechargeable batteries?
Overcharging can cause the batteries to overheat, leak, or degrade faster. Always remove the batteries once charging is complete to maintain optimal performance.
Will the UNIROSS XPress 300 charge completely dead batteries?
If the batteries are extremely discharged, the charger might not detect them. Try a manual charger or replace the batteries if they fail to charge after several hours.
How do I know if my UNIROSS charger is working properly?
Plug it into a power outlet and insert batteries. If the LED light turns on, the charger is functioning. If no light appears, check the power source or test with different batteries.
What do the charger lights mean?
A red light indicates charging is in progress. When it turns green or goes off, it means charging is complete or the charger has switched to trickle mode.
Is it safe to leave the charger connected when not in use?
No. Unplug the charger when not in use to save energy and prevent accidental overheating or short-circuiting.
