SINGLE PRESS
Your Wyze Switch can turn existing non-smart devices into smart devices by connecting them to the Wyze app or your voice assistants. If you’re using Wyze Switch on a light fixture with non-smart bulbs, make sure to choose the “Via power circuit” option while you set up the Single Press interaction, which is also the default setting. This option will physically turn the power on/off to your fixture. You can choose the “Via WiFi or Bluetooth” option to toggle smart devices on/off via the cloud. For an even better experience, replace your existing bulbs with Wyze Bulbs to change color and brightness.
ADDITIONAL INTERACTIONS
This feature enables further interactions with your Wyze Switch. You can use this feature to interact with other Wyze products as well as voice assistants. You can set up these interactions by going into the settings page and enabling “Additional Interactions”. Enabling this feature will cause a slight delay for Single Press response, and you MUST enable “Additional Interactions” in order to use them with the third-party integrations. The additional interactions are:
- Double Press
- Triple Press
- Press and hold: After holding the switch for more than a second, the indicator light will blink once, confirming that you can release the switch. The action is executed upon releasing the switch.
RESETTING THE DEVICE
Pressing and holding the switch for 20 seconds or more will reset the switch to factory settings. Upon releasing the switch, the indicator light will begin blinking fast, indicating that the switch has now been reset and needs to be set up.
