IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY • READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

• Read the instructions before starting work and keep them for future reference.
• The device is intended for household use to grind dry peppercorns, coarse salt, and other spices. Do not use the device for professional purposes or for purposes other than those described above.
• Do not allow children or persons with insufficient skills to use the appliance without supervision or prior instruction.
• Do not drop or damage the device.
• To ensure normal operation of the device, it is recommended to turn it off for 5 minutes after 5 minutes of continuous operation to allow it to cool down.
• In the event of a malfunction of the device, contact an authorized service center.
• Do not use a defective device. To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not turn on the device with wet hands.
• Do not let children play with the operating device. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Improper use of batteries may result in electrolyte leakage and/or fire.
• Insert batteries in strict accordance with polarity (+/-).
• Do not mix different types of batteries. Also, avoid using old and new batteries together to prevent electrolyte leakage. Remove the batteries as soon as they are used up.
• If there are traces of chemicals on the batteries, wipe them off with a dry cloth. Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a long time.
• Dispose of batteries in a safe manner. Do not dispose of discharged batteries in your regular trash.

HOW TO OPERATE YOUR PEPPER MILL

HOW TO USE

1. Twist the top cover clockwise to remove it. Pour peppercorns or coarse salt into the container (for the most efficient operation, the contents should not exceed 80% of the compartment). The contents must be dry.
2. Place 6 AAA batteries in the battery compartment, observing the indicated polarity.
3. Place the battery compartment on the container, then put on the top cover and turn counterclockwise to lock.
4. Use the screw under the base to adjust the grind (fine to coarse).
5. Press and hold the button on top to turn on the electric mill. When the power button is released, operation stops.
6. If the contents get stuck inside the grinding mechanism during operation, gently shake the grinder several times.

CARE AND STORAGE

1. Never wash the entire device under running water. If necessary, wipe the outside of the cabinet first with a soft, damp cloth and then wipe dry.
2. Do not use hard brushes, abrasive cleaners, benzene, or thinner (acetone) to clean the instrument.
3. The device should be stored in closed rooms in conditions that exclude the possibility of exposure to moisture and sudden temperature fluctuations.

Warranty Service

This Cüraa (by YFL home) consumer product is covered against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. The warranty is not transferable from one user/customer to another.

What is covered by this warranty?

1. The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective, in Cüraa (by YFL home)’s sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced up to one (1) year from the original purchase date. In case of repairs or replacement of any part(s) of the product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty.

What is not covered by this warranty?

1. Normal wear and tear of wearable parts, which require regular maintenance and/or replacement to ensure the proper functioning of your unit, are not covered by this warranty. Replacement parts are available for purchase at yflhome.com.
2. Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
3. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance (e.g., failure to keep the well of the motor base clear of food spills and other debris), or damage due to mishandling in transit.
4. Consequential and incidental damages.
5. Defects caused by repair persons not authorized by Cüraa. These defects include damages caused in the process of shipping, altering, or repairing the Cüraa product (or any of its parts) when the repair is performed by a person not authorized by Cüraa.
6. Products purchased, used, or operated outside India.
