InVue PK4400 IR2 Smart Lock Security Key-FAQs
What is an InVue PK4400 key used for?
The InVue PK4400 key is part of the OneKEY system, letting store associates unlock and manage security devices quickly. It also tracks access through LIVE Access, showing who interacted with a device and when.
How do I pair my InVue key with a device?
Place the programmed IR2 key near the device’s IR window, press the key button, and hold until it buzzes. Then log in to LIVE Access to confirm the key is paired.
Can I open the lock without the key?
Yes. If your device supports barcode scanning, you can scan the lock with the LIVE Access App. Once confirmed, the LED will flash and the lock will open.
How do I enroll a device in LIVE Access without the app?
Use a programmed IR2 key, enter your PIN in your OKM, and log in to Access Manager to register the device.
What if I lose my InVue key?
Contact a locksmith or your system administrator. Depending on the lock, a new key may be issued or the lock can be reprogrammed.
Can I program a new key myself?
Yes, if the key and lock support self-programming. Follow the instructions in the PK4400 manual or use LIVE Access for secure setup.
What happens if the key’s battery dies?
If the battery is low, the key may not communicate with devices. Replace the battery to restore normal functionality.
How do I reset a smart lock or key?
Use the reset function in the LIVE Access App or follow the PK4400 manual steps to reprogram a new key code safely.
Can smart keys be copied or hacked?
Key fobs can technically be cloned, but OneKEY and LIVE Access security measures protect against unauthorized duplication.
How long does it take to program a key?
Programming is usually immediate once the IR2 key is correctly positioned and the device is recognized by LIVE Access.
