Before First Use

  • Clean the product before first use.

Operation

Filling the hopper

NOTICE: Do not grind more than 2.1 oz (60 g) of coffee beans at a time.

  • Remove the supply cord (F) from the cord storage compartment (G).
  • Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
  • Remove the lid (A).
  • Fill the hopper (C) with coffee beans. Do not exceed the MAX marking.
  • Place the lid (A) on the hopper (C).

Switching on/off

CAUTION: Risk of injury!

Do not remove the lid (A) until the blades (E) come to a complete stop.

NOTICE: Do not operate the appliance for more than 45 seconds at a time. Let the appliance cool down for 3 minutes before resuming operation.

  • To switch on, press and hold the power button (B) in the (on) position.
  • To switch off, release the power button (B) to the (off) position.

Operation tips

  • For the freshest, most flavorful coffee, grind only the amount of beans you need for the next brew. Grind the coffee beans just before brewing.
  • Fresh beans ensure the best flavor and aroma.
  • Unused coffee beans can be stored in an airtight container in a freezer for up to 2 months. Coffee beans can be ground while still frozen.
  • Coffee grounds left in the hopper (C) can become stale and can affect the flavor of freshly ground coffee beans. Empty and clean the hopper (C) after each use.
  • For best effects, only grind dry coffee beans.

Cleaning and Maintenance

CAUTION: Risk of electric shock!

  • To prevent an electric shock, unplug the product before cleaning.
  • During cleaning, do not immerse the main body of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

Cleaning

To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.

  • Use a small, dry brush (not provided) to dislodge dry particles around the blades (E).
  • Dry the product after cleaning.
  • The lid (A) is dishwasher safe.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal, or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Storage

  • Wrap the cord in the cord storage compartment (G) located at the bottom of the product.
  • Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.

Maintenance

Any other servicing than that mentioned in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative.
