WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed as below:
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the thermostat control, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries or product damage.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- Do not move the grill while it is in operation.
- Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove the power cord from the electrical outlet.
- Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the appliance, as they may cause a fire or risk of electrical shock.
- A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, involving a risk of electrical shock.
- Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of materials other than metal or glass.
- Do not store any materials other than the manufacturer’s recommended accessories in this unit when not in use.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: Paper, cardboard, plastic, and the like.
- Some countertop and table surfaces, such as Corian®, wood, and/or laminates, are not designed to withstand prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. It is recommended by countertop manufacturers that a hot pad or trivet be placed under your appliance to prevent possible damage to the surface.
POLARIZED PLUG
If this appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), please follow the instructions below:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being used with this product. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

- Place the grilling pan onto the base, ensuring the power receptacle fits into the corresponding opening on the base.
- Push down on the grilling pan, locking it securely to the base.
Connecting the temperature selector
- Insert the thermostat plug on the thermostat control into the corresponding socket on the grill; at the same time, ensure that the pins in the thermostat socket are inserted into their corresponding sockets on the thermostat control switch.
- Ensure that the Thermostat Control is not loose or falling off the grill.
HOW TO USE:
- Assemble the grill.
- Place the grill and grill base on top of a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

CAUTION:
Always attach the thermostat control to the grill first and then plug it into the electrical outlet. Make sure the thermostat control switch is in the “off” position before attaching it to the grill.
NOTE:
- The initial 15 minutes of use may result in minimal smell and smoke. This is normal and harmless and comes from the protective substance applied to the heating elements during manufacturing.
- As the temperature of the grill is being maintained, the indicator light on the thermostat control will turn on and off.
CAUTION:
Never touch the grilling surface when the appliance is in operation, as it is very hot and doing so will lead to personal injury. To protect
the premium quality non-stick surface, use only plastic, nylon or wooden utensils.
COOKING REFERENCE CHART
Cooking time may vary due to differences in the sizing and thickness of food, and may also need adjustment based on how well you prefer your food to be cooked. Please use the table below for suggested internal temperatures for meats, fish, and poultry. Cook accordingly. (Source: www.fda.gov)
NOTE: The use of a food thermometer when grilling is recommended.
MINIMUM INTERNAL TEMPERATURE & REST TIME:
Cook all food to these minimum internal temperatures as measured with a food thermometer before removing food from the heat source. For reasons of personal preference, consumers may choose to cook food at higher temperatures.
GRILLING TIME CHART:

Elite Gourmet EMG6505G Smokeless Indoor Grill-FAQs
Do I need to add water to the smokeless grill?
Yes. Add around 1.5 cups of water to the water tray. The water helps absorb smoke and keeps grilling virtually smokeless.
How do I know when the smokeless grill is ready to cook?
The indicator light shows when the grill has reached the selected temperature. Add food only after preheating.
Should the grill vent be open or closed while cooking?
Keep the vent open for better airflow and more even grilling.
How do I use an Elite Gourmet mini waffle maker?
Plug in, wait for the ready light, lightly grease the plates, pour batter, close the lid, and cook for about 3 minutes.
Do I need to preheat a waffle maker?
Yes. Preheating ensures crispy, evenly cooked waffles.
Should I spray oil or Pam on the waffle maker?
Avoid non-stick sprays like Pam—they damage the coating. Use a light brush of cooking oil instead.
How much batter should I use in a waffle maker?
Most standard waffle makers take ½–¾ cup of batter. Mini makers need less.
Why are my waffles not crispy?
Too much moisture, low heat, or undercooking causes soft waffles. Preheat properly and cook until steam slows down.
How do I use an Elite Gourmet air fryer?
Add food to the basket, optionally add 1 tbsp oil, set the time and temperature, and start the cooking cycle.
Should I put oil in an air fryer?
A small amount helps crisp foods, but many items can be air-fried without oil.
