PAIRING BLUETOOTH
Toggle the connectivity switch to the Wired and plug in the USB-C cable to the Type-c port. When the T key lights up white and then back to the current backlight effect, the keyboard is connected to your device
PAIRING BLUETOOTH MODE
Toggle the connectivity switch to the BT side, and make sure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode
- Hold FN+Q/W/E for 3 seconds until the light indicator flashes quickly, and the keyboard is ready to pair
- 0pen up your Bluetooth device and find “THBS-1″, “TH85-2″, or *“TH85-3″, and connect
- When the light indicator stops flashing and back to the current backlight effect, the keyboard is connected to your device.
- Short press FN+G/W/E to toggle among Bluetooth devices 1/2/3
PAIRING 2.46 WIRELESS MODE
Toggle the connectivity switch to the 2.4G side, and make sure the keyboard is in 2.4G mode
- Press FN+R until the light indicator flashes slowly
- insert the 2.4Ghz receiver into your device’s USB port
- When the light indicator stops flashing and back to the current backlight effect, the keyboard is connected to your device via 2.4G
*Note: Hold FN+R for 3-5 seconds until the light indicator flashes quickly, the keyboard is ready to repair the 2.4Ghz Dongle
BATTERY CHECK
Hold FN+Enter, the keys from 1! to 0) light up green indicating the current battery percentage. For example, if the keys from 1! to 6″ light up when holding FN+Enter, it means the keyboard battery is 60%: if it is 1 to O) lights up, it means the keyboard battery is 100%
“Note: lights up Red when the battery is lower than 30%; lights up Yellow when lower than 50%; lights up green when the battery is above 50%.
LIGHT INDICATOR
FN Key:
- Low battery: Red lights blink
- Charging: Red light on for 10s and then back to current backlight
- Fully charged: Backlight Effect
- L_Win Key: White light on when it is locked
- Caps Key: White light on when it is locked
Sleep Mode
- Battery Saving Mode: When there’s no keypress for 2 minutes, the keyboard will go into battery saving mode and the backlight will be off. Press any keys to wake the keyboard
- Deep Sleep Mode: When there’s no keypress for 30 minutes, the keyboard will go into deep sleep mode, the backlight will be off and the keyboard will be disconnected. Press any keys to wake the keyboard and back to connectivity
HOW TO CONNECT TO VIA
- Please visit: “https://github.com/WestBerryVIA/via-releases/releases” to download the latest VIA application for your computer’s OS. Turn Off the button of “Use V2 definitions (deprecated)”
- Download the Epomaker TH85 JSON file at: “https://epomaker.com/blogs/via-json/epomaker-th85-via-json” and load the file
- When the loading is completed the “Configure” tab displays the layout and programmable functions
SPECS
Before installing switches, be sure the pins are clean and straight.
Push Straight Down
Please be gentle. Be sure the pins are aligned with the slots.
Included Tools
Remove Switches
- Grab your Switch Removal Tool and align the gripping teeth vertically (on the Y-Axis) at the center of the switch, as shown in the example graphic above.
- Grab the switch with the Switch Puller and apply pressure until the switch releases itself from the plate.
- Using firm but gentle force pull the switch away from the keyboard using a vertical motion.
Install Switches
- Check that all the switch metallic pins are perfectly straight and clean.
- Align the switch vertically to have the Gateron logo facing north. The pins should align themselves to the keyboard PBC.
- Press the switch down until you hear a click. This means your switch clips have attached themselves to the keyboard plate.
- Inspect the switch to ensure it’s properly attached to your keyboard, and test it.
Note: If the key doesn’t work it’s possible you may have bent one of the switches while installing it. Pull the switch out and repeat the process.
Pins may be damaged beyond repair and need replacement if this process is not done correctly. Never apply excessive force when replacing keycaps or switches. If you cannot remove or install keycaps or switches please contact customer service as soon as possible to avoid damage to the keyboard due to operating errors.
WARRANTY
EPOMAKER’s Warranty covers any factory defects that might affect the proper functionality of your purchase. It doesn’t cover any damage that may occur from normal wear and tear. If your product is defective we will send you a replacement unit. Replacement units might require you to send the defective unit back to Epomaker.
We provide a 1-year warranty for our products when bought from our website (EPOMAKER.com). Your item will not be covered by your 1-year warranty if the inspection shows any sign of modification or changes unsupported by the original product, these include: Changing internal components, Assembling and reassembling the product, Replacing Batteries, etc.
We will ONLY cover the item if it is bought from our official stores. You do not have a warranty with us if you bought the item from another reseller or likewise. Please contact the store that you bought your product from to resolve issues.
