Boiling Water
- Pour water into the Power Kettle
The Power Kettle should be filled between the Minimum level (0.15L) and the maximum level (0.8L).
Overfilling the kettle may cause the water to boil over. An insufficient amount of water may prevent the Dry-boil Protection or Automatic Power Off features from functioning properly.
Caution: Do not pour water into the kettle when it is set on the Power Plate.
- Put the lid in place and set the Power Kettle on the Power Plate.
Set the lid with the steam port on the spout side. May lead to burns from hot steam if set on the handle side.
Secure the cord firmly in the cutout. Place the Power Plate on a stable level surface.
Ensure that no foreign object is caught in the Power connector of the Power Plate. Ensure that the Power Connector is completely dry before setting the Power Kettle.
- Plug the Power Cord into a power outlet and press down the ON/OFF switch to turn on the power.
The Power Kettle and the lid will become extremely hot while boiling water. Do not place hands or face near these parts.
Do not lift the lid while boiling water. Hot steam will blow out and may cause burns.
- Power will automatically cut off when the water is boiled.
Do not tilt the kettle with force. Hot water may spill and cause burns.
Make sure the ON/OFF switch is turned OFF after use.
