Ivation JID0124TBLU LED Digital Time Bar-FAQs
How do I turn the Ivation clock on or off?
To turn the clock on or off, short-press the “C” button on the device. Note that the remote control offers the same functionality, except for changing the 12/24-hour mode.
How does a clock battery power the device?
A clock battery sends an electric current through a quartz crystal, causing it to vibrate at a consistent frequency (typically 32,768 times per second). This precision ensures accurate timekeeping.
How can I adjust the time on my Ivation clock?
Use the adjustment buttons to change the time. For slowing or speeding the clock, follow the provided instructions in the manual.
How do I set or adjust a digital timer on the clock?
Press the MODE or PROG button on the clock or remote control. Choose the timer setting and use the adjustment buttons to set the desired time for the ON function.
How do I reset the clock settings?
To reset the clock settings, go to the menu and update the time, date, and time zone. Options like “Automatic home clock” can be turned on for easier adjustments.
How does the clock function?
The clock counts periodic events at a known frequency. For instance, it measures vibrations or swings to keep time consistently.
What type of battery is recommended for the Ivation clock?
Use alkaline batteries for optimal performance. Avoid using lithium or rechargeable batteries, as they are designed for high-drain devices and may cause the clock to malfunction.
What formula is used for clock calculations?
A clock is a 360-degree circle divided into 12 parts, each covering 30°. The minute hand moves 6° per minute (360° ÷ 60 minutes). Use these values for solving clock-related problems or calibrations.
Can the Ivation clock be operated entirely with the remote control?
Yes, most functions can be operated with the remote, except for switching between the 12-hour and 24-hour modes, which must be done on the clock itself.
How do I change the 12-hour or 24-hour mode?
Press the “A” button directly on the clock to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats. This function is not available on the remote.
