Russell Hobbs 26391-56 Groove 2-Slice Toaster-FAQs
How do you use a toaster for the first time?
Before first use, run the toaster once without bread. Push the lever down to preheat the elements and burn off any manufacturing residue.
What do the numbers on a Russell Hobbs toaster mean?
The numbers control browning level, not time. Lower numbers produce lighter toast, while higher numbers give darker, crunchier toast.
Do toaster numbers mean minutes?
No. The numbers represent heat intensity and toasting duration, not exact minutes.
What is the best toaster setting for perfect toast?
For most bread types, settings 3 or 4 provide evenly browned toast. Adjust based on bread thickness and personal preference.
How do I turn the toaster on?
Insert bread into the slots and push the lever down. The toaster will not start unless it is plugged into a power source.
How do I know when the toaster is done?
Once the toasting cycle finishes, the bread automatically pops up, indicating it’s ready.
How long does it take to toast bread?
A typical toasting cycle lasts about 2–4 minutes, depending on the browning setting.
How do I stop toasting mid-cycle?
Press the Cancel button to immediately stop the toasting process.
How do I remove and clean the crumb tray?
Unplug the toaster and let it cool. Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom, empty it, wipe clean, dry, and slide it back in.
