SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wired Gaming Headset
WELCOME TO ARCTIS PRO WIRELESS
- History showed us that gaming headsets rarely looked good and sounded worse, so we made Arctis and put all other headsets on notice. Next, the Audiophiles said that a gaming headset could never stand up to dedicated headphones, so we made Arctis Pro and changed the game.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wired Gaming Headset-FAQs
How does a wired headset work?
A wired headset converts electrical signals into sound, delivering audio to your ears through the earcups. The built-in microphone captures your voice and transmits it as electrical signals via the wired connection to your device.
Does the SteelSeries Arctis Pro have Bluetooth?
Only the Arctis Pro Wireless model supports Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. The wired version does not include Bluetooth and relies on a direct cable connection for audio transmission.
Does SteelSeries support Bluetooth for gaming?
SteelSeries uses 2.4GHz wireless for low-latency gaming, not Bluetooth. Bluetooth is typically included only for mobile use and not intended for gaming performance.
How do I disable Sonar in SteelSeries software?
To turn off Sonar, go to GG Settings > General, then toggle the Sonar option off. You’ll see a disabled icon on the main dashboard once it’s turned off.
Why is volume limited in SteelSeries headsets in the EU?
SteelSeries headsets include a volume limiter to comply with safety regulations in the EU and Brazil. This feature helps prevent potential hearing damage by capping the max output volume.
How can I improve the sound quality of my SteelSeries headset?
In the Sonar Mixer tab of the SteelSeries GG software, increase the volume levels for Game, Chat, or Mic to 100% if they’re too low. Use the sliders to fine-tune your audio for better sound clarity and balance.
What frequency response is ideal for gaming?
For immersive gaming audio:
1. 60–250 Hz boosts deep effects like rumbles and explosions.
2. A 20 Hz to 20 kHz flat response is ideal for clear, balanced sound across all genres and environments.
How do I enable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on SteelSeries headsets?
If you have a compatible ANC headset like the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, press the Power button once while wearing the headset. A double beep will confirm that ANC is now active.
