CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
After each use, pour away any remaining water from the sterilizer base. Did you know that the buildup of limescale can negatively impact the performance of the steriliser? We recommend carrying out the descaling process every 4 weeks to ensure it continues to work effectively.
Living in a hard water area can produce limescale quickly than other areas, therefore descaling may be required sooner. Electric steam sterilizer descaling products are widely available. Use according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Alternatively, you can use white vinegar to descale your steriliser: Warning: only use white vinegar, no variants.
- Empty the steriliser, wiping down the inside with a sponge or damp cloth.
- Pour in 250ml of white vinegar.
- Leave for 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours, depending on the extent of the limescale.
- Pour any remaining liquid down the sink. Rinse the interior of the steriliser well with cool water, using a clean sponge or damp cloth to remove any build-up that came loose as a result of the descaling/cleaning process.
- Plug your steriliser back in, adding the regular volume of water for a normal cycle. Turn on and run for 5 minutes, which will remove any additional build-up.
- Do not use metal objects or scourers.
- Do not use bleach or chemical sterilizing solutions/tablets in your sterilizer or on products to be sterilized.
- Do not use abrasive or anti-bacterial material, or scourers to clean the sterilizer.

Tommee Tippee G-936C Electric Steam Steriliser-FAQs
How do I use the Tommee Tippee electric steam steriliser?
Wash bottles and accessories, place them in the trays, add 80 ml of water to the base, secure the lid, and press the power button. The unit sterilises the items in a few minutes.
How much water should I put in the Tommee Tippee electric steriliser?
Always use 80 ml of water. More water increases cycle time; less water may not sterilise properly.
Why is my Tommee Tippee steriliser not working?
Check that the unit is plugged in, the power socket is on, the lid is correctly positioned, and exactly 80 ml of water is added.
How do I know when the steriliser has finished?
The indicator light turns off when the cycle ends. Allow the unit to cool for 5 minutes before opening the lid.

How long does the Tommee Tippee steriliser take to run?
Up to 24 hours as long as the lid remains closed and the bottles stay inside.
How do I descale my Tommee Tippee steriliser?
Unplug the unit, let it cool, then wipe the heating plate using white vinegar or a manufacturer-approved descaler. Rinse and run a cycle with clean water before using again.
What are signs that my steriliser needs descaling?
White chalky deposits, longer cycle times, unusual noises, or the unit not heating properly.
