USX Mount XML008 Full Motion TV Wall Mount-FAQs
How do I use wall anchors to mount my TV?
If you can’t mount into wall studs, use toggle or butterfly anchors. These expand behind the drywall to provide extra support and hold the mount securely in place.
Can I install a full motion TV mount without studs?
Yes, you can use toggle anchors if wall studs aren’t available. They distribute the TV’s weight and help prevent drywall damage, but ensure they are rated for the TV’s size and weight.
Will any TV wall mount work with my TV?
Most TVs support the VESA mounting standard, so any wall mount that matches your TV’s size, weight, and VESA pattern should work. Always double-check the specifications before buying.
How much weight can a full motion TV mount hold?
The USX Mount XML008 can hold TVs from 37″ to 84″ and up to 120 lbs (54.5 kg). Be sure to check your TV’s weight and mounting pattern before installation.
Why should I choose a full motion mount?
A full motion mount allows you to tilt, swivel, and extend your TV for the best viewing angles, offering the most flexibility compared to fixed or tilting mounts.
Can I use drywall anchors alone for a TV mount?
It’s not recommended to use standard drywall anchors for mounting a TV, especially a full motion one. Use studs or heavy-duty toggle anchors designed for heavier loads.
Do I need to mount a Frame TV?
Yes, The Frame TV comes with a Slim Fit Wall Mount in the box, which helps it sit nearly flush against the wall for a clean, picture-frame appearance.
Who can help unmount my TV?
Services like HelloTech offer professional TV dismounting and remounting. They’re easy to schedule and handle everything for you.
What tools do I need to mount the TV?
You’ll need basic tools like a stud finder, drill, level, Phillips screwdriver, ratchet, tape for positioning the template, and a pencil for marking drill points.
