- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Do not turn your appliance ON until you are familiar with all instructions and operating procedures.

- Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
- Plastic film can be dangerous. To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep away from children.
- Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See grounding instructions. Do not modify the three-prong grounded plug.
- Do not apply liquid directly to any person or animal.
- Do not carry the machine while in use.
- Plastic tanks are not dishwasher safe. Do not put tanks in the dishwasher.

Warning:
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you aren’t sure if the outlet is properly grounded. DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance is designed for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding attachment plug that looks like the plug in the illustration. Make certain that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No plug adapter should be used with this appliance.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be connected to a grounded wiring system. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a safe path of least resistance for electrical current, reducing the risk of electrical shock. The cord for this appliance has an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. It must only be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To reduce the risk of a leaking condition, do not store where freezing may occur. Damage to internal components may result.

Filling the Clean Water Tank
Find more formulas at BISSELL.com.
For optimal performance, use genuine BISSELL formulas in your machine. Other formulas or household cleaners may cause defects or damage to the machine.
- Choose your formula.* Visit BISSELL.com for formulas.
- Remove the clean water tank from the machine by lifting the carry handle.
- Flip the cap open.

- Add warm water (140°F/60°C max) to the water fill line based on the size of your mess.
Small Area: 28 oz
Large Area: 56 oz - Add formula* to the line based on the size of your mess.
Small Area: 4 oz
Large Area: 8 oz - Close cap. Return the clean tank to the machine and click it back into place.

*Compatible BISSELL formulas include: Spot & Stain, PRO OXY Spot & Stain, PET Spot & Stain, PET PRO OXY Spot & Stain, Simply Spot & Stain PET.
Warning:
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due to internal component damage, use only the BISSELL cleaning formula intended for use with this machine.
Using Your Machine
Before You Clean
- Vacuum to remove loose dirt from areas to be cleaned.
- Spray any BISSELL® stain pretreat formula on soiled areas and allow to sit for a few minutes.
- Tip: For upholstery, work in small sections until the area is clean.
- Release the hose by pulling away from the hose clip.
- Attach the desired tool to the hose until it clicks.
- Twist the Quick Release Cord Wrap to remove the cord. Plug the cord into the outlet.

- Turn the machine ON.
- Press and hold the trigger over the sink or bowl to prime the machine until liquid sprays out.
- While holding the tool above the desired area, press and hold the trigger to spray the solution.

- Release the spray trigger and gently scrub the stain using the bristles.
- With the trigger released, press the tool firmly against the surface and pull towards you to remove the stain. Repeat as needed.
- Turn the machine OFF.

Cleaning with the Self-Cleaning Tough Stain Tool
- Choose your cleaning method: Use the bristle block for everyday soft surface cleaning, or the rubberized block to remove embedded pet hair and debris.
- Pull the bottom latch to release the bristle block from the tool.
- Insert your preferred tool attachment; it will click into place.

- Slide the tool lever up to ensure the tool is in SPRAY mode. Follow clethe aning steps on page 4.

Cleaning with the Spraying Crevice Tool (select models)
- While holding the tool above the stained area, press and hold the trigger to spray the solution.
- Release the spray trigger and press the tool firmly against the surface and pull toward you to remove the stain. Repeat this step as needed.

Cleaning Machine with Self-Cleaning Tough Stain Tool
- Turn the machine ON. Slide the tool lever down for CLEANOUT mode.
- Press the trigger to activate the CLEANOUT function. The solution mixture will spray through the tool and hose.
Tip: For a more thorough rinse, place the suction nozzle on a soft surface and tilt forward/ backward. - To continue cleaning with your machine, slide the tool’s lever upward to return to SPRAY mode.

Emptying the Dirty Water Tank
- The empty dirty water tank when water reaches the “MAX” line. Do not let water overfill.
- Remove the dirty water tank and carry it to a water disposal area.
- To remove the lid, hold the bottom of the dirty water tank and use the handle inset to lift it up and off.

- Pour out dirty water. Rinse the tank to remove any debris.
- Align the lid with the bottom of the tank, then press down until it’s secure.
- Place the dirty water tank back onto the machine.

After-Cleaning Care
- Be sure to empty the dirty water tank after use (see above).
- To disconnect tools, push down on the button above the hose grip and pull straight off. (Do NOT twist the tool to remove it.)
- Remove the tool lens.

- Rinse lens under clean, running water. Allow to dry before reinstalling.
- When finished using the machine, wrap the cord around the cord wrap for storage. Store indoors in a dry location in an area where it is not likely to get damaged.

How do I operate the BISSELL Little Green Pet Pro?
Fill the clean water tank with warm water and formula, attach the hose and tool, press the trigger to spray, and move the tool back and forth to clean and suction dirt.
