Your Solar Security Sign loves sunlight. For a reliable glow at night, make sure it can receive direct sunlight during the day. For best results, use type LiFePO4 batteries. Install only new batteries of the same type in your product. Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to leak. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.

How to replace the battery.

WARNING: Solar Security Sign is intended for outdoor installation only. Only install the Solar Security Sign in the ground (grass, flower beds, etc.). Do not attempt to install in turf. Do not attempt to install on concrete, tar, or other paved surfaces. Do not attempt to install indoors.

WARNING: LACERATION HAZARD. Stake includes sharp edges that can cause injury. An improperly installed stake may present a hazard to children. Exercise caution when driving a stake into the ground. Do not place hands, fingers, or other limbs or extremities between the stake and the ground during installation. Ensure that the stake is securely lodged in the ground. Do not install Solar Security Sign near play areas designated for children. Discontinue use if the Solar Security Sign or stake becomes damaged.

BATTERY SAFETY

Use only a type LiFePO4 battery. Do not open, disassemble, bend, deform, puncture, or shred the battery. Do not modify, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids. Do not expose the battery to fire, explosion, high temperature, or other hazards. Fires involving lithium batteries can usually be controlled with flooding with water, except in confined spaces where a smothering agent should be used. If dropped and you suspect damage, take steps to prevent any ingestion or direct contact of fluids and any other materials from the battery with skin or clothes.

If a battery leaks, remove the battery and recycle or dispose of it in accordance with the battery manufacturer’s recommendations. If fluid or other material from the battery comes into contact with skin or clothes, flush skin or clothes with water immediately. An open battery should never be exposed to water, as fire or explosion may result from exposure to water. Insert the battery in the proper direction as indicated by positive (+) and negative (-) markings in the battery compartment. Always replace with a 14430 3.2V LiFePO4 battery specified for this product. Always remove old, weak, or worn-out batteries promptly and recycle or dispose of them in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser.

Ring may, in its sole discretion, make any repair or replacement with a new or refurbished product or components. If the product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available, Ring may, in its sole discretion, replace such product with a similar product of similar function.

Repair service, damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or casualty (e.g., fire), acts of God (including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane), and consumable parts (including batteries) are not covered by this warranty. Damage from unauthorized service or modification of the product or of any furnished component will void this warranty in its entirety. This warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, loss of use, or unauthorized service. In addition, this warranty does not cover any losses, injuries to persons, loss of property, or general damages.

This warranty and community support services do not apply to any products purchased from third-party sellers on eBay and other online marketplaces. If your Ring camera or doorbell product is stolen at any time after your purchase, Ring will replace the stolen device at no charge to you. Coverage of this theft protection is limited to one (1) replacement only for each Ring camera or doorbell product that you have purchased.

Theft protection does not apply to any products purchased from third-party sellers on eBay and other online marketplaces. Any claim based on theft of your Ring camera or doorbell product must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the theft and include the original sales receipt and a copy of a police report evidencing that you reported the theft to the police.
