Status signal of the detector
The detector is equipped with a wireless networking interface, which can output the following status signals.
The wireless networking interface of the detector can output a signal corresponding to its measured concentration and display the corresponding value in the app as a percentage of the lower explosive limit (LEL).
Preheating
Once the detector is powered on, the buzzer beeps three times and the indicator flashes red, y, and green in a cycle. After 3 minutes, the preheating ends, and the indicator remains green, which indicates that it is detecting normally.
Tips: In case of use for the first time or non-use for a long time, the detector should be charged continuously for more than 72 hours for the optimal detection capacity.
Self-test
- In the normal working status of the detector, the indicator is always green. Hold down the silence/self-test button for more than 3 seconds to confirm that the indicator flashes red, yellow, and green in turn, with three beeps of the buzzer, which indicates that the self-test is normal.
- Press and hold the button until the indicator and buzzer repeat the above sound and light signals with a pause every three seconds, and then release.
- During the self-test, a forward direction 12V pulse voltage signal is output between wiring terminals T+ and T- within 30 seconds to close the solenoid valve.
- A monthly self-test on the detector is recommended. Please contact the after-sales service immediately in case of any faults.
Natural gas leakage alarm
- Natural gas leakage detected
- When the detector works normally and detects that the concentration of natural gas is at or above the configured threshold value, the indicator keeps flashing red once per second, and the buzzer alarms loudly, with one beep per second and a pause every three beeps.
- After the detector alarms, a positive 12V pulse voltage signal is output between wiring terminals T+ and T- to close the solenoid valve.
- In case of natural gas leakage
- Do not switch on or off any electrical appliance during the alarm of the detector.
- Do not cut off the power of the detector, and the detector can automatically close the solenoid valve if the terminal has been connected to the valve.
- Extinguish all fires and close the main natural gas valve immediately.
- Open doors and windows for ventilation.
- Do not use a telephone in the building where the presence of gas is suspected.
- In case of the natural gas leakage hazard is eliminated
- After pressing the silence/self-test button, the buzzer will be silenced for 10 minutes, with no sound prompt during this period until the end of the silence status. During the silence, if you hold down the silence/self-test button for more than 3 seconds, the alarm sound prompt function will be restored.
- In case the natural gas concentration is below the alarm setting value, the detector will automatically return to the normal working status.
- If there is a connected solenoid valve, after confirming that the security hazard has been eliminated and the gas supply needs to be restored, you should reset the solenoid valve according to the operating instructions.
- A false alarm of the detector may be triggered as a result of the following conditions..
- The cooking wine is used for cooking.
- The detector is too close to the stove.
- The stove temperature is high, or there is massive steam in the kitchen.
- The hairspray, mousse, air freshener, insecticide, paint, etc. They are used near the detector.
- The sensor is covered with a lot of dust or cooking fumes.
Natural gas leakage linkage alarm
- When the detector works normally and receives the linkage alarm signal of natural gas leakage, the indicator keeps flashing red once every 4 seconds, and the buzzer sounds loudly, with one beep per second and a pause every three beeps.
- Once the linkage alarm occurs, you should promptly check the main detector that triggers the automation, take immediate and effective measures to prevent fire, explosion, and other accidents.
Fault
- In case the detector fails, the indicator is always yellow, with one beep of the buzzer every 5 seconds, which means that the detector is unable to detect the leakage normally. Please contact the after-sales service with the least possible delay.
- In case the detector fails, after pressing the silence/self-test button, the buzzer will be silenced for 8 hours, with no sound prompt during this period until the end of the silence status. During the silence, if you hold down the silence/self-test button for more than 3 seconds, the fault sound prompt function will be restored.
Out of service life
- In case the detector is out of service life, the indicator flashes yellow three times every 5 seconds, with three beeps of the buzzer every 5 seconds, which means that the cumulative working time of the detector has reached the end of service life. Replace the detector with the least delay possible.
- In case the detector is out of service life, after pressing the silence/self-test button, the buzzer will be silenced for 8 hours, with no sound prompt during this period until the end of the silence status. During the silence, if you hold down the silence/self-test button for more than 3 seconds, the out-of-service-life sound prompt function will be restored.
