SAFETY:

- Carefully read all instructions before use.
- Before plugging into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of the appliance.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should not use this appliance.
- Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
- Never let the appliance run unattended.
- If the plug or power cable is damaged or the appliance is faulty, do not attempt to repair it. Please contact a Blendtec® customer service agent.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled, and always unplug before disassembling the appliance or handling the blade.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not operate this appliance for long periods of time. It is not recommended that the appliance be used for longer than one minute at a time. Then take at least a 10-minute break between uses.
- The appliance is not intended for use by anyone (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge.
- Do not process more than three batches without interruption. Let the appliance cool down to room temperature before you continue to process.
- Do not operate outdoors.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse any part of the blender except the Blender Wand in water or other liquid. Do not put the motor body, cord, or electrical plug of the unit in water or other liquids.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.
- Keep hands and other body parts away from the blades at all times.
- Be certain accessories are securely locked in place before operating the appliance.
- When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or make small quantities to reduce spills and splashes.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending. Do not attempt to scrape the sides or bottom of a container while the unit is running.
- The unit should only be immersed in liquids the length of the blender bar. Do not submerge beyond the seam of the blending attachment. Do not immerse the motor body.
- Never attempt to remove food from the blade using your finger. If food is lodged in the blade area, unplug the power cord and remove the blender bar from the motor unit. Then use a spatula to clean out any food.
- Do not blend in glass containers.
- Always allow hot food to cool before blending.
- Do not leave unattended.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Preliminary checks
After removing the packaging, make sure the product is completely undamaged and that all accessories are present. Do not use the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
When connecting the appliance:
- Check that the main power supply voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the rating label.
- If the power socket does not match the plug on the appliance, have the socket replaced with a suitable type or have the plug replaced by a qualified professional.
USING THE BLENDER
- Put ingredients in the Blender Jar. To prevent splattering, immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients.
- Switch the appliance on by pressing either “ON” or “MAX”. You can adjust the speed by adjusting the speed slider located on top when pressing the “ON” switch.
- Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up, down, and in circles.
USING THE CHOPPER
The Chopper is perfect for fresh fruit and vegetables and can even handle tougher foods like nuts.
Caution: the blades are very sharp! Be very careful when handling the blade unit.
- Put the Chopper Blade unit in the Chopper Bowl.
- Put the ingredients in the Chopper Bowl.
- Put the Chopper Adapter onto the Chopper Bowl. Twist the Chopper Bowl to lock.
- Fasten the motor unit onto the Chopper Bowl by twisting until secured.
- Switch the appliance on by pressing either “ON” or “MAX”. You can adjust the speed by adjusting the speed slider located on the top button when pressing the ON switch.
USING THE CHOPPER
The Chopper is perfect for fresh fruit and vegetables and can even handle tougher foods like nuts.

USING THE WHISK
The whisk is intended for whipping cream, beating egg whites, and mixing batters.
- Insert the Whisk into the Whisk Adapter.
- Connect the Wisk Adapter to the Motor Unit.
- Press the “ON” button to activate the hand blender. After approximately 30 seconds, press the “MAX” button to whisk at a higher speed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and detach the accessories.
- Wipe the Motor Unit, Chopper Adapter, Whisk Adapter, and Blending Bar with a damp cloth. Do not immerse them in water. All other accessories can be put in the dishwasher or cleaned with water. See the table below.
- If food is not easily rinsed off the blade or whisk, place a drop of dish detergent in the mixing container with water. Plug the cord into the outlet. Immerse the blade end portion or whisk and operate the unit for about 10 seconds. Unplug, rinse under running water, and then dry.
- When not in use, store the appliance in a well-ventilated, dry place to prevent damage to the motor.
- Not all attachments are dishwasher safe. See the table below:
Caution: The cutting edges of the blades are very sharp. Use extreme caution while cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
Jammed blades: If the blade becomes jammed, do not attempt to operate the motor until the jam has been cleared. Follow the steps below to clear the jam.
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the object stuck around the blades with a spatula or similar tool, being careful of the sharp blades.
- Plug the unit in again and verify proper operation.
The unit will not turn on.
- Ensure the power cord is firmly plugged into the outlet and the circuit has power (breaker is not tripped).
Accessories vibrate excessively or are misaligned.
- Ensure accessories are assembled properly and locked into position.
