WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Use this product only for its intended household use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not specified by the manufacturer.
  • Charge only with the charging cable provided with this product.
  • Use only with a USB power adapter from a certified product, such as a computer, receptacle lamp, Class 2 power supply, or automotive adaptor.
  • Never charge this product when it has a damaged cord or plug, when it is not working properly, after it has been dropped or damaged, or after it has been dropped in water. Contact MicroTouch® customer service immediately.
  • Always check the cutting head before use. Do not use this product with a damaged or broken cutting head, as it has the potential to result in injury.
  • Keep the product, charging cord, and USB power adapter away from heated surfaces.
  • Always attach the plug to the product first, then to the outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  • Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

DANGER – To reduce the risk of electrical shock:

  • Do not reach for the MicroTouch Titanium® Head Shaver if it has fallen into water while charging. Unplug immediately from the receptacle.
  • The power cord and the accessories connected to it are not for immersion or for use in a shower.
  • Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
  • Except when charging, always unplug the product from the electrical outlet after charging.
  • Do not place or store the product where it is able to fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquids.
  • Unplug this product before cleaning.
  • The battery used in this product may present a fire or chemical burn hazard if mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 200°F, crush, or incinerate.

GETTING STARTED

  • Fully charge your Microtouch Titanium® Head Shaver (see CHARGING) before first use.
  • If you are new to using the Head Shaver, we recommend you allow your skin and hair approximately 2 to 3 weeks to adapt.
  • The MicroTouch Titanium® Head Shaver is not intended to shave more than 3-day stubble or hair longer than 1/16th of an inch (1.5mm) in length. If your hair is longer than 1/16th of an inch, trim your hair down with a hair clipper prior to using the Head Shaver.

SHAVING

  • Remove the protective cover, then press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the Head Shaver (Image #1).Microtouch MTTTBHS Titanium Electric Head Shaver User Manual 2
  • Place the Head Shaver in the palm of your hand, then gently press the Head Shaver against your skin.
  • Glide the Head Shaver over your head using small, circular motions.
  • Do not press too hard, or you may damage the cutting heads and potentially cause skin irritation.
  • When finished, power the Head Shaver OFF and replace the protective cap.
  • Be sure to clean your Micro Touch Titanium® Head Shaver after every use (see CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS).

CHARGING

  • Fully charge your MicroTouch Titanium® Head Shaver before its first use.
  • When your Head Shaver battery is running low, the power indicator LED will begin to flash (see Image #2 below). This indicates you have approximately 10 minutes of shaving time left before you need to recharge the battery.Microtouch MTTTBHS Titanium Electric Head Shaver User Manual 4

To charge your MicroTouch Titanium® Head Shaver:

  • Turn the unit off.
  • Ensure the USB-C charging port is dry.
  • Insert the charging cable into the USB-C port located on the side of the shaver (Images #3 & #4).Microtouch MTTTBHS Titanium Electric Head Shaver User Manual 4
  • Insert the USB end of the charging cable into the wall adapter or other power supply.
  • During charging, the power indicator on the top of the unit will flash. When charging is complete, the power indicator will turn OFF.
  • A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
  • Unplug the Head Shaver when charging is complete.
  • You can use the Head Shaver while it is charging. However, DO NOT use the Head Shaver in the shower or a wet environment while plugged in and charging.

CLEANING

In order to achieve optimum cutting performance from your MicroTouch Titanium® Head Shaver, it is important to clean the cutting head assembly after every use, especially after shaving with cream or gel.

  • Over a sink or garbage can, hold the Head Shaver in the palm of one hand. On the other hand, grip the sides of the cutting head assembly, between the cutting heads (Image #5), and gently pull until the cutting head assembly separates from the body (Image #6).Microtouch MTTTBHS Titanium Electric Head Shaver User Manual 5
  • Tap the cutting head assembly and body to dislodge hair clippings. Use the small cleaning brush provided to sweep out any remaining hair from the head.
  • Rinse the cutting head assembly under warm running water. Set the body and cutting head assembly aside to air dry.
  • When dry, reattach the cutting head assembly to the body by aligning the four clips on the cutting head with the four pockets on the bottom of the body and pressing until the cutting head snaps into place.

TRAVEL LOCK

Prevents the shaver from accidentally turning on when traveling.

  • To LOCK: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. The power indicator LED will flash 5 times when locking is complete.
  • If the ON/OFF button is pressed while locked, the power indicator LED will flash 1 time, but the shaver will not turn on.
  • To UNLOCK: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. The Head Shaver will turn on after 3 seconds.
