Morphy Richards 403065 2L Jug Blender & Soup Maker-FAQS

How do you operate the Morphy Richards soup maker?

Simply add your prepared ingredients to the jug, ensuring you stay within the minimum and maximum fill lines. Add boiling water or hot stock, close the lid securely, select the desired soup or blend program, and let the machine cook and blend automatically.

How do you use the Morphy Richards blender function?

Add your ingredients to the jug, secure the lid, and select the blend or pulse setting. This function is ideal for smoothies, sauces, and cold soups. Do not exceed the maximum fill level when blending.

Do I need to use boiling or cold water in the soup maker?

For best results, always add boiling water or hot stock. Using cold water increases cooking time and may affect soup temperature and texture.

Can I use the soup maker as a regular blender?

Yes, the appliance works as both a soup maker and a blender. It can blend cold ingredients such as fruit, vegetables, and liquids without using the heating function.

Can I put hot soup directly into the blender mode?

No. Avoid blending very hot liquids manually. Always use the pre-set soup programs or allow hot contents to cool slightly before blending to prevent pressure buildup.

Can I put raw meat or chicken in the soup maker?

No. Meat and poultry must be cooked separately before being added. The soup maker is designed for heating and blending, not for safely cooking raw meat.

What should I avoid putting in the soup maker?

Avoid raw meat, frozen vegetables, large hard chunks, shop-bought soups, tough herbs, and very thick dairy products that may stick or burn.

What are common mistakes when making soup in a soup maker?

Common errors include adding cold water, overfilling the jug, using large uncut ingredients, blending extremely hot liquids manually, and not adding enough liquid.
