Function List

Left Earbud

• Turn On
  • Pick up the earbuds from the case it will turn on automatically.
  • Tap the Touch Control for 3 seconds to Turn On.
• Turn Off
  • Put back the charging case will turn off & charge automatically.
  • Tap the Touch Control for 5 seconds to turn off not playing status.
  • Automatically Turn Off after no connection for more than 5 minutes.
• Previous Track
  • Tap the Left Touch Control twice.
• Volume down
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control on the Left earbud.
• Active Noise Cancellation Mode
  • Tap the Left Touch control Once.
• Transparent mode
  • Tap the Left Touch control Once.
• Active Noise Cancellation Off
  • Tap the MFB Touch Pannel 3 times.
• Hang up Phone Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Left earbud.
• Reject Incoming Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Left earbud.
• Cancel Phone Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Left earbud.

Right Earbud

• Turn On
  • Pick up the earbuds from the case it will turn on automatically.
  • Tap the Touch Control for 3 seconds to Turn On.
• Turn Off
  • Put back the charging case will turn off & charge automatically.
  • Tap the Touch Control for 5 seconds to turn off in not playing status.
  • Automatically Turn Off after no connection for more than 5 minutes.
• Next Track
  • Tap the Right Touch Control twice.
• Volume on
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control on the Right earbud.
• Play/Pause
  • Tap the Touch Control Button once on the Right earbud.
• Answer Phone Call
  • Tap the Touch Control Button once on the Right earbud.
• Hang up Phone Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Right earbud.
• Reject Incoming Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Right earbud.
• Cancel Phone Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds on the Right earbud.

TOZO APP

Download the TOZO App for Ul customization, EQ settings, and more.

• Ul customization: Most of the controls can be customized in the App.
• EQ settings: There’re lots of EQ settings you can choose in the App to optimize your experience while enjoying different music genres.
• Earbuds firmware update: The earbuds firmware can be updated in the App. You will be informed once the new version of firmware is detected when you connect the earbuds with the App.

TOZO APP pairing

• Step 1: Download the TOZO App on your phone.
• Step 2: Bluetooth pairing with your earbuds.
• Step 3: TOZO App pairing with your earbuds.

SPECIAL REMINDER

Wipe the hardware contacts of the headset and charging box when the headset is not charging.

Wearing Steps

• Step 1: Ensure sounds hole downward, then place earbuds into the ear.
• Step 2: Rotate the earbud back to the auricle side to fit snugly.

How to pair

1. Take out the 2 earbuds from the charging case, they will power on and pair within 10 seconds.
2. The two earbuds flash red and blue alternately. ( Pairing Mode )
3. Search for pairing name [TOZO – NC9).

Another Way To Turn on/off

• Turn on:
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control on both earbuds for more than 3s.
• Turn off:
  • Touch the Control button for 5 seconds will turn off when the earbuds are in the non-playing music status.
  • The earbuds will turn off automatically after it is disconnected for more than 5 minutes.

Reset

If you accidentally get only one earbud working/only one earbud gets sound, or fails to pair with each other, please reset it:

Method 1

1. Delete all [TOZO-NC9] Bluetooth records on your phone and turn off Bluetooth.
2. Put the earbuds into the charging case, close the lid, wait for 15 seconds, then take out the earbuds and reconnect.

Method 2

1. Delete all (TOZO-NC9] Bluetooth records on the phone, and turn off Bluetooth. Take the earbuds out from the charging case, and press the touch panel for 5 seconds to turn the earbuds off.
2. Press both earbuds for 5 seconds till the blue light goes out, and then quickly double-tap the panel. The reset is complete once the purple light is on.

Note: If your device displays [Connection failed]. Please delete all (TOZO-NC9) pairing history and pair again.

Switch Between Different Modes

Tap the left earbud’s MFB Touch Pannel to switch the Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Active Noise Cancellation off. The Active Noise Cancellation function are not available when using a single earbud.

NOTE: If the electromagnetic interference signal is strong in your area, it may affect the Bluetooth connection, and the earbuds will be silent or disconnected, please reconnect it or change the place of use.

Active Noise Cancellation Mode

Active Noise Cancellation uses a noise cancelling system to reduce unwanted background noise. The system is based on microphones that “listen” to the sounds outside and inside of the earphone, an Active Noise Cancellation chipset inverting the soundwaves and a speaker inside the earphone cancelling the outside sound by the neutralising soundwaves. A bit like taking +2 outside and adding -2 inside to make zero.

Transparency Mode

Transparent mode can enhance the voice frequency band, and improve the perception of surrounding sounds so that you can hear what is happening around you without taking off your earplugs.

When your TOZO NC9 fits well and is worn correctly, the active noise reduction and transparency modes work best.

Active Noise Cancellation Off Mode

Active Noise Cancellation Off Mode is the default mode.

Detailed Function List

• Turn on
  1. Manually Turn On: After the headset is in close status, tap and hold the touch control for 3 seconds and release it, the blue light will turn on. Then look for the phone with the last connection memory within 10s after the headset is turned on.lf it is not found, enter the pairing state (the red and blue lights flash alternately).
  2. Pick up the earbuds from the case it will turn on automatically.
• Turn off
  1. Manually Turn Off: Tap the Touch Control 5 seconds for turn off in not playing status, and then release it, the red light will turn off after one second.
  2. Put back the charging case will turn off & charge automatically.
• Phone Pairing
  1. Take out the 2 headset from charging base, they will power on automatically  and will connect each other automatically within 10 seconds.
  2. The two earbuds flash red and blue alternately (Pairing mode)
  3. Search for the pairing name”TOZO-NC9″ and select it on your mobile phone.
• Restore Factory Settings
  • In case the reset step does not resolve your issue, please restore to the factory setting:
  • Pick up two earbuds from the charging case, then hold both earbuds buttons for 5 seconds till the red lights on to turn off the earbuds.
  • Holding the MFB Touch Pannel on each of the earbuds for 5 seconds till the blue light turns on and off, and then click the MFB Touch Pannel on each of the earbuds 3 times quickly, the Restore Factory Settings process will be done when the red light.
  • Put earbuds into the charging case, and then take them out to connect records of “TOZO-NC9” on your phone.
• Turn on for re-connection
  1. Tap the touch control for 3 seconds and release to turn on the earbuds→ Wait for a few seconds for the earbuds to automatically interconnect with each other- wait for a few seconds for the earbuds to connect with the paired phone – the connection is successful.
  2. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and wait for a few seconds for the earbuds to automatically interconnect with each other wait for a few seconds for the earbuds to connect with the paired phone → the connection is successful.
• Over distance for re-connection,
  • After the headset is disconnected from the phone at a long distance, it can automatically reconnect when it returns to the effective range (in 8-10 meters). with the phone within 5 minutes. For more than 5 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off.
• Answer Phone Call
  • Tap the touch control once to answer the incoming call.
• Hang up Phone Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds to hand up the phone.
• Reject Incoming Call
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds to reject the incoming call.
• Cancel dialing
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control for 2 seconds to cancel dialing before dialing out and the other party fails to answer.
• Play/Pause
  • When playing music, tap the Right touch control once to pause/play(The left headset cannot switch to play/pause).
• Next Track
  • Double-tap the Right Touch Control twice backward when playing music.
• Previous Track
  • Double-tap the Left Touch Control twice for the previous when playing music.
• Volume up
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control on the Right earbud when playing music.
• Volume down
  • Tap and hold the Touch Control on the Left earbud when playing music.
• Voice interaction of Siri
  • In standby mode, quickly tap the right MFB touch pannel 3 times to turn on voice interaction of mobile phone.
• Primary / Secondary switch automatically
  • When listening to music, put either headset back into the charging case, and the other headset will not be affected.
