FLIP TO MUTE MIC
Flip the mic all the way forward to unmute it. Flip the mic back to mute it. When the mic reaches the position in the middle image below, you will hear a tone indicating that the mic has been unmuted or muted.
QUICKSWITCH BUTTON
The QuickSwitch button allows you to quickly switch between the low-latency 2.4GHz Wireless mode and the Bluetooth mode, based on your preference. Use the Bluetooth mode to make calls, listen to music, or connect to other compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices (like smartphones or mobile tablets). We recommend using the 2.4GHz Wireless mode for best performance when gaming on consoles or PC.
When you use the headset’s QuickSwitch button to switch to Bluetooth mode, you will hear only the output from the Bluetooth device the headset is paired to. When you use the QuickSwitch button to switch to the 2.4GHz Wireless mode, you’ll hear only the output from the console or computer to which the transmitter is connected.
NOTE:
Advanced audio features available in 2.4GHz Wireless mode may not be supported in Bluetooth mode.
BLUETOOTH
The Stealth 600 Gen 3 will enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on. If no Bluetooth connection is made within two minutes, pairing mode will stop. To pair new devices, follow the Bluetooth pairing steps on this page.

Stealth 600 Gen 3 (All Versions) – Removing/Replacing Ear Cushions
If you need to remove the ear cushions on your Stealth 600 Gen 3, you can do so by following these steps:
- With your thumb on the outside of the ear cushion, gently hook a finger under the inner edge of the ear cushion at the base of the earcup, and then grasp the ear cushion between your fingers and thumb.
- Without stretching the ear cushion itself, pull the ear cushion down/away from the ear cup enough that the ear cushion leaves the channel it is fitted into on the ear cup itself. Once the edge of the ear cushion is free of the channel, let go of the ear cushion.
- Simply place your finger between the ear cup and ear cushion and run your finger along the edge of the ear cushion/ear cup to finish separating the two.
The ear cushion should now be removed from the earcup itself. To remove the other earcup, simply follow the same steps again on the other side of the headset.
Putting the ear cushion back onto the earcup may seem difficult at first, but it can be done. To do so, please follow these steps:
- As shown in the images below, the ear cushion and ear cup have a similar shape. Please note that while the ear cushion and earcup on one side of the headset will fit together, these ear cushions are NOT interchangeable between the two sides of the headset. The ear cushion for the right side of the headset is shaped differently from the earcup on the left side of the headset, and vice versa. The right-side ear cushion will NOT fit on the left-side earcup, and the left-side ear cushion will NOT fit on the right-side earcup. Once you are sure that you have the corresponding ear cushion and earcup, hold the ear cushion in one hand and the earcup in the other, and align the two; you may need to rotate the ear cushion a little until the shapes line up/match.
- There is a small channel in the plastic of the earcup (highlighted in red below) that the ear cushion fits into. Locate that channel on your headset.
- Start at the bottom of the earcup. Slide the outer edge of the ear cushion into that channel. When you have fitted enough of the ear cushion onto the ear cup, that part of the ear cushion will appear to be hooked into place as normal. Once this happens, put your thumb on the ear cushion to hold it in place.
- With the bottom part of the ear cushion fitted into that channel, you can begin to install the rest of the ear cushion. Keep your thumb on the base of the ear cushion, and then slowly rotate the ear cushion and earcup while continuing to feed the edge of the ear cushion into that channel. Do NOT let go of the ear cushion with your thumb; this may result in the ear cushion sliding out of the channel on one side of the earcup as you reach the other side of the earcup, in which case you will need to start over from Step 1. Instead, gently grasp the ear cushion with your other hand, keep your thumb on the outside (to feed the edge of the ear cushion into the channel) and your fingers on the inside of the ear cushion (to guide and stabilize the ear cushion as you rotate the earcup).
- Continue to feed the ear cushion into the channel on the earcup until you have gone all the way around the earcup and have reached the bottom of the earcup again. The ear cushion should now be securely in place on the earcup. If the ear cushion seems to be slightly out of alignment with the earcup itself, you can gently rotate the ear cushion in place to ensure that the ear cushion is aligned properly. The ear cushion should now be installed back onto the earcup. To replace the other ear cushion, simply follow the same steps again on the other side of the headset.
