How to configure your controller

Open the Xbox accessories app

To open the Xbox Accessories app on your console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, select My games & apps > See all > Apps, and then choose Xbox Accessories.

To open the Xbox Accessories app on Windows, press the Start button, type Xbox Accessories, or choose it from the list, and then sign in.

Note: Configuration changes made in the Xbox Accessories app can be saved as individual profiles. You can store up to three profiles at a time in the Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 Controller. These profiles are saved to the controller. If you use the controller with another compatible device, you can access these profiles without signing in to your Microsoft account. This includes while playing on Xbox consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and newer Samsung TVs.

  6. Select the function to remap the button to.
  7. Select Ok to confirm the change.
