TIPS
SETUP
- Install the 4 included AAA batteries. Line up the positive and negative signs to make sure the batteries are installed correctly.
- Download the Wyze app and sign in or create an account.
- In the Wyze app, tap the + plus sign, then Add Device > Lifestyle > Wyze Scale. Follow the instructions in the Wyze app to complete setup. To connect, enable your phone’s Bluetooth and tap on the scale’s surface to activate it.
- After the connection is established, place the scale on a hard, flat surface and step onto the scale with bare feet to begin the measurement.
NOTES
- You can share the Wyze Scale with other family members by following the sharing instructions inside the Wyze app.
- Your scale may need to be calibrated to show accurate weight measurements. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface and recalibrate it (step on and then step off, allowing the scale to return to “0.0 lb”).
- If you work out more than 8 hours a week and have a resting heart rate below 60 bpm, you may need to use Athlete Mode.
- Make sure your age, sex, and height are entered during the setup process are correct to get the most accurate results.
- Open the Wyze app and connect to your Wyze Scale before taking measurements to ensure the data is recorded on the correct profile.
- If your Wyze Scale is shared by users with similar weights, make sure the scale is connected to the Wyze app of the user taking the measurement, or data may not be recorded on the correct profile.
- People who are under 18 or over 65 years of age, who are pregnant, who have osteoporosis or very low bone density, who have edema, or who have artificial dialysis should use the Wyze Scale only as a reference, as the body fat measurement could be inaccurate due to deviations from standard averages.
LED DISPLAY
- Suspected error. Please clean the scale with a damp cloth if needed, then step on the scale again with bare feet.
- The batteries are low. Please replace the batteries.
- The batteries are critically low. Please replace the batteries.
- Module connection error. Please reinstall the batteries.
- Weight not in supported range. Please measure again.
- Unstable measurement. Please measure again.
- Hardware error. Please reinstall the batteries and contact customer support if needed.
- Firmware update error. Please try again.
- App connection error. Please restart the app and try again.

GENERAL SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS
- Do not stand on the edge of the scale, as you may fall over or influence the accuracy of the measurement.
- Do not use the scale on a tiled or wet floor, as this may result in a fall.
- Make sure the surface of the scale is clean before you step onto it, to prevent any slippage.
- Treat your scale with care. Do not drop it or jump on it. The scale is designed to be stood on; misuse or abuse may break the electronic sensors, cause injury, or result in inaccurate measurements.
- Avoid using this scale near strong magnetic fields, such as microwave ovens, etc.
- This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Its operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause harmful interference, and
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
- Charges or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Avoid high temperatures and irradiation.
- If the scale is stored close to the freezing point, allow it to acclimate to room temperature before use.
- Remove the batteries if the scale is not going to be used for 3 months or more.
- Clean the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners, and never immerse it in water.
- The scale will maintain its safety and performance features for at least 10,000 measurements.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Wyze Scale is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within 1 year from the date of purchase, when used in accordance with the instructions provided. The above warranties extend only to the original retail purchaser. We will, at our option, repair or replace without charge any product covered by the above warranties. Repair or replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under the above warranties.
