Does the Blueair Mini Restful SC9i dry out the air?

No, the purifier does not remove moisture from the air. It only filters airborne pollutants such as dust, pollen, and pet dander. If indoor air feels dry, a humidifier may be needed separately.

How can I tell if the air purifier is working properly?

Turn on the purifier and select a fan speed. You should notice airflow from the unit and see the indicator lights active. Cleaner air, reduced odors, and quieter operation are also signs that the purifier is functioning correctly.

What do the air quality indicator colors mean?

The indicator colors help you understand indoor air quality levels:
Blue – Excellent air quality
Green – Good
Yellow – Moderate
Orange – Polluted
Red – Very polluted

How many hours a day should I run the purifier?

For the best results, it is ideal to run the purifier most of the day or continuously. Continuous use helps maintain consistent indoor air quality, especially in bedrooms or frequently used spaces.
