Fellowes Jupiter 125 Thermal Laminator Machine-FAQs
How long does the Fellowes Jupiter 125 laminator take to heat up?
With InstaHeat Technology, the laminator heats up in as little as 30 seconds, allowing for quick and efficient laminating.
How do I clean my Fellowes laminator?
Use the provided cleaning sheet to remove excess adhesive from the rollers. Running the sheet through the machine after each session helps prevent jams and maintains smooth lamination.
What does ABS mean on a laminator?
ABS stands for Anti-Blocking System. If a pouch jams or is inserted incorrectly, switch to the ABS setting to safely remove the pouch and reinsert it properly.
Why is my laminator not working?
A common issue is clogged rollers due to adhesive buildup, dirt, or debris. This can prevent even pressure application, leading to poor-quality lamination. Regular cleaning can help prevent this.
Does the Fellowes laminator turn off automatically?
Yes, the laminator features an auto-shutdown function that turns it off after 30 minutes of inactivity, helping conserve energy and enhance safety.
How does a laminator work?
Laminators use heat, pressure, and rollers to apply a thin plastic film to documents. The paper is inserted between lamination pouches or sheets and then passed through the machine for a secure seal.
How do I unjam a laminator without a reverse button?
Look for a release button, usually located near the power button. Press it while the machine is on to manually free the jammed document without disassembling the laminator.
Can I leave my laminator on overnight?
No, it is not recommended. Always turn off and unplug the laminator at the end of the day to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards.
